In this snowboard trick tutorial I head up to Copper Mountain, Colorado to meet my friend Andy (@andweb) who is a snowboard coach for Woodward Copper. Today our goal is for me to learn how to do a tamedog front flip, and we will take you every step of the way through my learning process. We started off on gym mats and progressed to trampolines and roller-boards before taking this new trick to snow. I found tamedog front flips to be fairly easy to initiate but difficult to land clean on my snowboard; I naturally wanted to turn my shoulders which effected my rotation and caused me to land crooked. Thankfully after all the practice at Woodward, a few tries, and the great tips from Andy, I was able to put one to my feet by the end of the day. I hope this snowboard tutorial video helps you avoid some of the mistakes I made! For more tips check out the snowboarding trick playlist. Thanks for watching!
Special thanks to Woodward Copper! www.woodwardcopper.com/

This type of tutorial is awesome. Instead of listening to a pro thats done the trick for years. You get to watch the process of someone who doesn't know the trick, learn it. And see all the progression and steps into learning the trick.

i'm sure most cites or a near by one, has a gymnastics place for the foam pits and blocks and maybe trampolines. that's the most important step probably.

Maybe the trick is easy but the risk is pretty high if you aren't confident in what you need to do. I meant more like a step up from the more beginner progression videos Kevin did with Gill and Doug.

I’ve been snowboarding since the 80s. This is easily one of the best snowboard tutorials I’ve watched online, and I’ve watched a lot. Great advice, proper breakdowns and concise explanations, pro filming and editing, good tunes, great vibe, authentic, non-cheesy, non-wannabe, engaging and steezy! Great job guys, liked, subbed and shared! Greetings from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍻🌀🤍💙🧗🏻‍♂️❄️🏂

I love this trick! It’s something ever free style rider should learn. You can bust it out almost anywhere. I didn’t have a trampoline to learn on so I did them off the knuckle of a kicker after a good snow fall. Its one of the tricks that definitely require Full Send! But once you get comfortable doing them, it’s easy. 🤙🤙🤙
