When Scorched Earth, Center and Ragnarok released i was ok with the new creatures and i tought they are a pretty good start to different dlcs, when Aberation released i was like it is strange but yk its a forgotten underground world, these things are acceptable but then extinction and genesis came and ruined the ark experience for me..... i love the other free dlcs tho

You only need one person in tribe to own the tall tales to tame it and then everyone can use it and it can be admin tamed in single player or unofficial servers

The Oasisaur only eats the foliage from potted plants. Using a shovel and pots in your inventory you can dig bushes into the pots once they are green they can be used as food for the Oasisaur.

The fact that they actually allow you to find Dino’s/treasure maps in the game but then don’t let you interact with them unless you have the dlc is pretty shady tbh. It’s bad enough they show you the stuff in the engram page saying “hey look at all the cool stuff we could have if we bought the package” but then they go a step further to have the stuff in the game but don’t allow you to interact with them lol. Game devs are so shady nowadays

I add a train with dinos bet it sucks high hopes of tying down a rex to the tracks like dick dasterdly spelt that wrong fosho but el kabonging newbies around the tracks is a sick idea!!!😂😂😂

Great vid Syntac! Cant wait to try this and I have the DLC but all the oasisaurs in the server I’m on are still locked. Not sure why - working on a solution. A few other reports of this happening to players as well :(

It's a super easy target and can be killed pretty fast for such a large creature and the revive function works once a day which is less reliable than breeding backups. It is fun for pve though

It easy to make it a war base. You just have to place cannon and turrets. And have 5 wyvern around it to keep it safe.

I have a quick question. Does buying Bob’s tall tales unlock future paid content, like the dlc for aberration and extinction? I havent been keeping up with community crunches so idk if this is known info or not. Also, it’s quite the steep pricing ($45 au) for this dlc, which doesn’t seem very worth it.

I am a massive fan of this creature, but it's extremely that you can find it on the map but not tame it without more DLC. Sets a really dangerous precedent

I think this creature should be able to bury itself into terrain to hide in the environment plus it would make it easier to get creatures onto its back

if you want him on single player and don't own bob tale you can use forcetame, it will be tamed and you can use it without owning bobs tale

For the record, Syn experiences a pretty bad bug in this. A few other ark-tubers have made tutorials for this, but a few of their baby tames actually survived the taming process, so it would seem there's a bug currently that sometimes causes them to disappear. His advice still holds, however, that until this bug is fixed, or at least the trigger for it is discovered, you would be wise to "sacrifice" a creature you don't care for, in case you get ARK'D and it goes poof.

Only if ultra instincts aura wasn't a mix of blue, purple and white instead of just a blue aura

I didn't buy ASA because I felt it was a scummy move to full price it and everything else for players who already owned ASE. Gone are the days of Wildcard caring about the fanbase since, as usual Corporations come slithering in when they see a successful IP they can profit off of. But im mainly being cynical with tbst that bit. I still think its a spit in everyones face though.

The thing is so massive i doubt you can clone it too just like the space whale

I mean if if nothing else their worth taming just to get your base off the ground and away from wild dinos. I can see these being made into mobile merchant bases or Neutral Meeting areas for large tribes.

You cant build turrets on it nor can you build under it to protect its belly so not really too hard to kill at 20k health

can you do this "how to" on official tame rates? I found it extremely more difficult when geting past wave 5 6 7 and 8, when the Vultures are 150+. Even with acendent gear, haven't been able to do it.

Forgot the most important part, is not permanent. Like the Titans, it's only until it's food runs out.
