More than having access to two types of language, American English and British English, the main thing is the conversation between you. While other English channels on KZread only have one teacher speaking the entire time. The dialogue between the two of you really makes the channel very efficient and dynamic for those learning the language. I really liked the channel since I discovered it recently, and it's already one of my favorites.

Hi Kat and Mark, great lesson! I enjoyed it! I understand much better now who an Acquaintance is. In the other hand, I had not heard about Flaky Friends, but I understand now who that is in a group of friends. Sometimes it is myself! Blessings and best wishes. Thank you!

Haha it's okay to change plans every now and again - only if it happens too much you might be in danger of becoming a flake!
What a great pair you two make ! Loved this video as well!! It’s great to hear both accents simultaneously and learn about differences in vocab and pronunciation! 👏👏

Hello, my dear teachers. Ever since I met you both, I have a great respect and love for you. The biggest thing that connects me to you is that you believe in your sincere sincerity. My dear teacher Mark's dignified, calm and sincere stance and my dear teacher Kat's overwhelming excitement, Her sincerity, cheerfulness and the fact that she is always full of motherly and caring attitude towards her students amaze me once again. I hope you have a happy, peaceful and successful life in every aspect of your life.

Thank you for this nice lesson! For me the word “flaky” is new and I like because it shortly and correctly describes the whole enough complex situation. It seems that we have not only one word for this in our language.

Thanks for this helpful Episode! How do you call someone who is not your husband but the Partner you live with? Greetins maria😅

Great question! Actually I think you already said it: "My partner." "My partner" is very versatile. It can be a romantic partner that you have been with a long time. Male or female = "My partner" Married or Unmarried = "My partner" Same sex couples use "My partner" as well For example: "Let me introduce you to James - he's my partner." "This is my partner, Melissa." It's very easy and flexible! Hope that helps!
