If this seat has been installed in the car for a while, it can be a little more tricky than this as it's something to do with the isofix getting tighter over time (at least, this is what I was told by a Joie rep). So if you are trying to take it out and can't get the isofix arms to release, what you need to do is press the grey button in to lengthen the arms (this is easier with two people) and then, without pressing the grey button, push the whole seat IN towards the isofix and then try to release with the small double "pinchy" buttons as shown in the video. That pressure in usually gets the isofix to release. If it seems stuck and won't come out, try this.

This video was super helpful as my wife and I have just bought one for our coming addition to our family, though, I did want to check one thing if I may? The load leg can swing underneath the car seat and I presume is meant to lock into the right angle position with an audible click when it is being installed; however, how do you unlock it again so that you can fold the leg under the base? Is it a little bit of force or is there a button to press that allows it to swing freely again for the purpose of storage? No instruction seems to show this part and and my load leg is stuck stiff in the outward position when the seat is stored lying on its back on our spare bed! Thank you for any help you can offer - I hope what I am asking makes sense!

Hi, There’s no button, you just need to give it a little push.

Nice video. Thanks! Couple of things not covered. Make sure the seat is set to the over 15 months setting on the base otherwise it won't spin forward. Secondly, put the headrest down as it's more difficult to get out the car when up.

This is the Spin 360. The i-Spin 360 has the 15 months forward facing lock, this one doesn’t.

Thanks for these very helpful videos but, can the seat be removed from the base? If so, can you demonstrate? The entire seat is too heavy for me & causing neck injuries!

Hi, I’m afraid that the Spin 360 is an all-in-one seat, the base is built in.

I consider buying this car seat but I came across reviews saying it can move and not being stable on the isofix Have you noticed it? I’ve seen a few videos with that issue which concerns me and stops from buying

It is quite a wobbly seat, but ISOfix seats have to have some movement in them to absorb crash energy. But I agree that this seat does move more than others.

Can it be installed with a seat belt if car doesn’t have isofix

No, it can’t. Most seats are one or the other. If you’re looking for a belt fitted seat, Joie do the Every Stage R129 and Steadi R129.

I find a thick rubber band useful to temporarily stop the leg from falling down when taking it out.

I’m afraid not. This is an all in one seat, it is permanently attached to its base.
