if you aren't gonna print the photos in huge sizes, and you just want your photos for social media or small print, the latest phones have fantastic quality and do the job, I print a lot of my iphone photos in small sizes and I love them!

I just found your channel today and it's been very helpful for me, thank you! I'm a professional photographer but I haven't been shooting for over a year now, just because of lack of motivation and feeling very jaded about the whole process. I used to do conceptual, fantasy, and surreal photos for various alt fashion magazines but I find them pretentious now. I don't know why but I can't get over the attention getting factor, so I started spending a lot more time outside and completely embraced nature photography which is my one true love! haha But I still like to do self portraits but I am so stuck in a rut with them because of the same reason as before. I don't want to try too hard or it just seems so fake. Like I literally get a uncanny valley feeling from the images and it becomes disturbing. But I love your ideas, they are exactly what I am looking for to spark my creativity again. Soft, simple images, so much more introspective without being extra.

I have tried almost every app but I think it's reallt about Imagination. 🌻 If you need just filters, you can stick with VSCO.

Clear, straight to the point, and visually pleasing. I got a dslr and i dont know what to use it for except point and shoot. Now I know what to do. Thanks a lot, Kika!

It’s not about needing a boyfriend as a photographer. It’s a specialty that he had. And i have a blog so after dating him for so long i have almost forgot how to take my own self portraits. It’s nothing to laugh when someone had a heartbreak

Really glad to hear you got inspired by these tips :) The top down pics can be a bit of a hassle in the beginning, but with a bit of patient and some trial and error it's one of the most fun angles I think to try in your photos :)
