It is very rare to find a single dosha dominant individual and they are usually very unhealthy, so one must fully understand the full makeup of a person before assuming anything. One would also want to balance the doshas per seasonal regimes first and foremost, you do not just change things based on being a "pitta person" unless there is a deeper imbalance that cannot be changed through the natural flow of the doshas through the seasons. This is a big misunderstanding all over the place these days. Hope this helps clarify for you.

This was very helpful. My therapist actually was telling me that she feels I fall under Pitta. I am trying to understand it all. Doshas and the medicine. This all rings so true for me, I feel I am unbalanced in my... Self. So this is very helpful for me.

This is all so true. Angry, impatient, fast, but I can also forsee how things will unfold in the future but ppl don't listen to me and then it's exactly unfolds like that. It's frustrating. Breathing helps. Try wim Hoff method.

Holy moly did you nail me on the head!!! However having those 'negative' qualities I've worked on them and learned how to tame them. Now I am more humble and meek. That comes with age, learning,& wisdom

When you started describing negative traits I laughed so hard because you're so right. If I ever had any doubt that I was Pitta, it's been eradicated. I can be truly insufferable to the point I annoy myself. Also I love sour and spicy food ..... So so much. Pineapple tho, I can't eat or drink without vomiting because of the pain it causes. Yogurt, coconut water, coriander .... I love too, so I'm not so sad.

Pitta doshs is only water plus increacment of agni, consistsncy wont balance pitt but if consistsncy keeps up as an stabilization or vata stiff

"Ghee". It is clarified butter. Used predominantly in all Indian homes. Lamp is lit using 'Ghee' (instead of oil ) and is better than candle light. Search for oil lamps and see the picture.
I studied ayurveda many years ago, but did not understand how to apply the food principles then. Now, I find that they are helping me tremendously (pitta!) but in the process, I have also discovered that there are some other practices that must go....in relationship to who the true God is and can be.....Jesus. And no, I am not talking about "The Christ," I am talking about the one and only God who became man to save us if we accept Him and what he teaches. Yoga stimulates the kundalini, which stirs the serpent power to run up the spine and through the body. Then, many people will have "kriyas," which means they will shake uncontrollably and have other body movements out of their control. If this is not the reptilian energy that first accosted us in the Garden, I don't know what is. There are more aspects that are satanic in nature, but that's for another time. Blessings.

+J. Dee As was told to us : a lamp not from a candle but one where the medium is ghee, which is clarified butter. Avble in an indian store and can also make at home. Recipe avble on You Tube. The flame of a ghee lamp is very special, has its own luminosity and the flame burns steadily, does not flicker as with a candle flame. It is very good to meditate on. Enjoy.

Dr k at heathy gamer GG has a lot of videos about adhd from a Ayurvedic perspective. He says people with ADHD are vata dominant.
I am very Pitta. However, my body looks like Kapha, mostly because I am overweight. Otherwise I feel I am not a combination and pure Pitta. Any ideas of how to bring my body and self into balance?

Do pranayam meant for pitta prakriti. Watch *Yogi Anoop* 's video yoga for pitta dosha. 1. Left nose kapalbhati (slow) 2.Chandrabedi( left nose breathing) 3.Ujjayi 4.Jalandhar (throat lock) 5. Meditate No Hiit or fast exercises.

key lamps not necessarily, but calm and more diffused lights like a himalayan salt lamp soothe me much better than a candle

Fire is sharp hot and spready as water is liquid and also spready , the pita personality have more abundance of heat and fire, also judgmental, anger criticality is a dissbalance , in anger knowedge is cleared up and what to do is almost obvious , and dont act before things
