I recently did goddess braids for my trip to south Africa (currently on vacation there) and I have them in my hair right now, with super curly/wavy synthetic hair attached. At first it was matting then i started putting Got to be glued on every curly strand. I let it sit until it dried, then followed it up with a shine and curl moose. Tied it down with a silk scarf and bonnet. The next morning ,i sprayed my hair with oil sheen. It hasn't tangled or looked matted since.

Ah I have never heard of this technique before but it makes sense how it might would, will def give it a try!🥰
It also depends what kinda of synthetic hair you’re getting and why you’re putting in it to maintain it

Next time do human hair. I recently got bo ho braids and the curly pieces are human hair and it doesn’t tangle at all

Yes, i think i will. I just wanted to try out the style first to see if I liked it cause the price for human hair ones were wild. But i think its prob worth it 🙂
