The constant attention is true. But they also are passively active meaning they can just sit on the owners shoulder and watch them do the chores and that already counts as an interaction. Therefore its not as frustrating. I get a lot of things done while my lovebird just sits on me.

depends... But I don't recommend pairing them together in the same cage since the lovebird can seriously injure the budgie
