    I like the flavor of the pollen so I just take it straight. I crush a big spoonful with my mortar and pestle and then I eat the powder. It helps to drink water as I eat it because it's quite dry, but that's it! No need for a carrier drink, but I think the powder would go fine in smoothies too after it's crushed

    I give it to my horses to help with fertility, it's about $350 for a years or half a years worth. It's organic, but never frozen. I just keep in the tack within a storage bin for a cooler temp. I go through wholiticpetorganics, but I like your suggestion to go to a local beekeeping outlet instead, that would save a lot, especially since it's only for horses lol

    I've been doing 1-2tsp. Didn't know it should be broken up. I've kept it in the fridge this past month so I hope I haven't spoiled it any. Didn't know it's to be frozen.

  • @EarthsAnswers

    @EarthsAnswers

    4 жыл бұрын

    It’s hasn’t spoiled but it’s fresher in the freezer, meaning the medicinal properties last much longer. If your going to use it up in several months the refrigerator is just fine. Breaking it up makes it easier to mix and measure out, you still get the same benefit in its original form or any form. However heating it over 180 kills off the benefits. I’m going to make soap with Propolis this week, and trying to add it below 180 I’ll do a video on it!! :)

  • @EarthsAnswers

    @EarthsAnswers

    4 жыл бұрын

    You’ll want to start out using a tsp and then if you’d like you can gradually move up to a few tablespoons. My beekeeper friend Gary has access to a lot of it and takes a sot glass full daily for good health! But he does recommend to start out slowly. Since your bee pollen most likely has been dried already the fridge is fine! Fresh frozen new pollen should be frozen for max benefits. If you buy it already frozen it’s usually fresh frozen.

So if your dog weighs 25 lbs then 1/2 tsp or if he weighs 10 lbs 1/4 tsp etc. I’ve only given it to my dogs but I know cats can have it too! Using the same weight scale! It is very safe for all pets and people. You can buy it online and in health food stores!!
