Awesome. I’ve been looking for single count swing instructions but didn’t know what to call it. You two are doing a fabulous job teaching and make all moves look doable. Thanks!

You all are amazing!! Thank you for doing a single time swing, it’s so much easier for beginners to follow and is a lot more popular where I am!

Thanks for your video series. I love your teaching style; it's clear, easy to follow and you give the little tips that bring it all together. In some videos I need to reduce the speed to figure out what the heck they're doing but yours are easy to follow at regular speed. Thanks, and I look forward to watching all your videos!

Hi my name is Tori Gisone. My fiancé and I are just picking up swing and this step is all we know and I’m really struggling on the turns I’m either doing them too fast or I find myself landing on the left leg. Like I also find myself doing it on 3 or 4 steps instead of 5 or 6. So if you guys can help me with that maybe by taking a slow motion video or something that would be great Thanks You guys are great dancers Tori

Hi Tori! This step can be pretty tricky. What you want to do is keep the basic rhythm and steps from the swing basic and maintain that while she's turning. I would suggest counting in "slow slow quick quick" instead of numbers so you don't confuse the timing with the number of steps you need to take. You only change weight 4 times so count your steps to start and make sure you go left right left right etc. continuously. You can slow the speed down here on youtube! If you go to the bottom right of the video there's a settings option, click playback speed and change it as slow as you want! I would also recommend revisiting the basic swing step and master it on your own, it will really help you keep the rhythm and footwork while leading her with the turns! kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKZqs8qoXcXFZNY.html

It's actually used to 4/4 timing songs! Here's a link to our Spotify playlist for the single time swing: open.spotify.com/playlist/0KoNkaHvuAFGQslWoNcrOH?si=379dff7ccce4409a
