you have hands down the best tutorials! I remember struggling with top side tricks for ages. After watching your video on the top soul, where you explain that the top side foot should come from the top, I got it in an afternoon... same for top acid. You're an absolute star, thanks! sweaty was always scary but this approach helped massively!

The details that you point out are very interesting. I noticed the other day that my kindgrids would improve if I approached them like I would a frontside rather than a 180 mizou. I think this applies to sweaty's as well. Awesome rail shot and great pointers throughout!

Painting the foot on eh? I think you could also use the term “mounting” as that also denotes mainly a downward motion as well as a lock on and not the aforementioned forbidden chop. I definitely will be adding this to my training regiment. As to your rolling fakie drill, I’ve also added a flat 180 after each foot. Really get that “good way / switch” out of my head and just “left and right”.

When I do topside grinds, they feel waaay more natural if I do them switch - especially on ramps/coping. Is this usual, or could there be something wrong with my approach? Also, do you have a good way to learn to spin the opposite direction to usual - I cannot seem to get comfortable turning to my right and wonder if this is why I'm more comfortable with a/o switch topsides than any other topsides.
