How to Swag a Rectangular Tablecloth (D.I.Y. Table Scallop)

Learn how to easily and affordably swag a linen onto your table! For this tutorial we used a 6' rectangular table, 17ft table skirt, and a 90"x132" rectangular tablecloth. A table scallop is one of the simplest ways to dress up your wedding or event tables on a budget. These simply beautiful results can be used for cake tables, dessert tables, head or sweetheart tables, and more! Put your own creative twist on this set up by using a color to match your event's theme, attaching silk flowers, or even using our buckle pins at the top of each swag.

Thank you for sharing, Is there a special way to tuck a table runner in to a side swag, or is it better to just fold it down to size.

Hi there! Thank you for your question. If you have a table runner over the tablecloth you are swagging you can tuck and pin it on the side of the table where the swag goes up or you can tuck each end under the runner and flatten it out on the table. The method you use will depend on which style you like best and your table runner material. Hi Lizzie!👋 Thank you for watching our video. If you line it up together and trying to make one long table and continuous then you'll need 2 of 21ft and 1 of 17ft & 3 90x156 tablecloths for swagging. If doing 3 separate tables, then it would be 3 of 21ft and 3 90x156 tablecloth for swagging. If you have a larger table you can use a larger tablecloth. In the video description, you can find all the links to the products we used.
