Welcome back to Contemporary Mama and the last video in my Whole30 series! For those of you who don't know I completed the Whole30 program throughout the month of August and boy I learned a lot! It was a huge adjustment eating only Whole30 compliant foods so I thought I would share a video today with some items that made putting together Whole30 compliant meals a lot easier. I would definitely recommend getting these items before you start on your Whole30 journey.     Thank you, thank you, thank you for not dragging out this video with “unnecessary “ chatter and getting to the point! I hate listening to videos where they talk like “valley girls “🙄 every other word is “like”. I got so much out of your video!!

    Great tips! I've done Whole 30 7 or 8 times now, usually in the summer when I have fresh produce in my garden. I even learned new things from you, so thank you! I'm going to try butter chicken soon.

    Oh forgot they added potatoes to whole30. I did the original one many times and it didn’t include potatoes and I think that’s still the best way to do it.

    A super simple way to make your own mayonnaise at home. Buy you an immersion blender put all the ingredients in a widemouth pint size canning jar, run the immersion blender from the bottom of the jar up gradually. In about 60 seconds you’ve got mayonnaise. There’s lots of recipes online, I prefer using lemon juice in my oil. Avocado oil is too strong for me. I much prefer the extra light olive oil. This is ridiculously easy and cheap and has a lighter flavor than the primal kitchen avocado mayonnaise.

    These are some great tips! I will definitely keep it in mind if I decide to try it! I’ve never heard of that cheese seasoning thing. I’ve only ever seen the nutritional yeast.

    I need to order the palming pasta- such a great substitution! How did you feel while following the plan? And after you began introducing back some forbidden foods? Did you notice a difference?

    Yes I'm curious about all of this too?? Did you hit a wall with fatigue? Or did you get the "tiger blood" energy they say some get? (Omg if I could be that lucky 😀 ❤) And I know some people lose 20 pounds 😲 & others didn't lose any? (Though I get that's not what this diet is meant for, but one can hope 😉) and the biggest question....did you feel any different in all the stages....while you were on it? When you started introducing back in the eliminated foods? I hope you both felt an improvement after all that work at least ❤

    It's too bad that 'Hearts of Palm' destroy the entire tree. They may be 'Whole 30 compliant,' but they destroy the rainforest. It really is too bad.

    Peanuts are a legume....but you can have almonds, cashews & other nuts & seeds

    Trader Joe's mayonnaise is made with canola oil which is Whole 30 compliant.
