I love how skitten couldn’t be here for this one, so she was just inserting her comments and corrections in text form.

Fun fact, arsenic is used as a type of "chemotherapy" today. Let me tell you, it hurts, I can't imagine dying from it. This was great

"Phossy Jaw" aka "Phosphorus Necrosis of the Jaw" was common among those who worked in match factories, due to inhalation of white phosphorus used in making matches. It resulted in abscesses and infections so severe, the jaw bone would be eaten away.

Something similar happened with the radium girls, women would work in wristwatch workshops and would use radium paint, so over time from licking the brushes the radium would poison them and eat away their mouth and jaw

As a Brit, I think it's great your wife is so interested in our history. Just so you know, the Industrial Revolution happened around half a century after the French Revolution

You should bring back abridged reactions. There are some REALLY good ones out there right now, that are making new episodes. You would like PhatDogStudios (Shield Hero, ToraDora, Log Horizon, Slime, RollerBlades - Air Gear, and One Piece), TheDastails (Fairy Tail and My Hero Academia), and TheSchmuckSquad (Seven Deadly Sins). Fun fact, all of these listed groups work with each other in one form or another, that includes TFS and SWE.

I'm pretty sure that those statistics of people having a life expectancy of 25 are skewed by infant mortality. There is a common misconception of old times that people didn't live very long but the data is skewed by most people dying in childhood. Those who live past that are almost as likely to live into their forties or fifties and there were a surprising number of 80 year olds as well. If you take into account the severe likelihood of children dying young today since millions are aborted we are probably worse off than they were in life expectancy averages.

9:05 Bruh ofcourse it was wrong to plunder ancient graves but let's not pretend modern day arabs have any relation to the ancient Egyptians. They only came there very recently if you look at the time scale of the ancient Egypt. So dumb for a historical video to make that reference.

Chavez said royalty wrote it but i gotta disagree the fact that unconfirmed rumors and slander about monarchs and royalty is treated as fact i think leans in to the fact that general populations like peasants also has a strong course on the history, not even talking about the revlots and mass murders being treated as a good thing.
