This is the *ONLY* video I could find that gave actual instructions on what to do. Most say "do quests, starchart, railjack, etc." But never give suggestions on mods or frames or specific mechanics to take advantage of that will give you a power spike. Thank you SO MUCH.

Hearing you actually talk about shield gating and how it works absolutely blew my mind because I never hear people talk about it since I'm more of a casual warframe gamer. It seems like such an important mechanic to know about. For the longest time I've struggled to survive against tougher enemies and I've never really understood why since other guides have always said to: "install these mods and press 2". Which have only encouraged me to play in a similar way sadly. This has been an eye opener thanks lol.

After playing Warframe few years now I have to say... Very, very good video. You include a lot of aspects which are without any doubt really helpful. Nice and keep it like that.

Honestly? Excellent guide, pretty precise, says enough without over extending everything. As someone who is trying to come back to Warframe, this was a pretty nice video imo. Got all the info i needed to start trying once i get the star chart done.

You legend. Just subbed, came back after quite a while and basically refreshed the mem. Really short and straight to the point!

I just started SP (back to WF after a long break) and I definitely needed this video. I felt like my builds were just stomping even the later star chart and Zariman/ESO but SP is wrecking me

This is the best channel that i have found im still trying to figure out warframe and this channel has helped me out more than anything i just got to steel path and I struggle to kill/survive this has helped me sooo much 😭

@@YoujustgotJ1NXED hhahaja thanks for pointing that out, that's what I said, now is 3515hrs and yes not enough time, your making assumptions, that's in more than 5 years with roughly 1 or 2 hours on weekdays and we have to work and sleep and eat so maybe I haven't planned my time in game to complete all quest and new additions but is a large game indeed and even more if you're behind in content.

The huras kubrow is also a great companion for survivability. If you’re using a warframe that uses abilities to kill instead of weapons, you will stay invisible as long as you don’t use your weapons.

If you are playing Ivara, using silence mod on the weapon being used will keep you invisible. With Ash noice doesn't matter ofc. Hope this helps 😁

The 2 key things for me was Rolling Guard and learning what shield gate was. Then I added Ash (cause I like him and invsy and bleed) and it got easier. When I die now, it's because I wasn't paying attention, or doing something stupid.

LR3 here, here's what you want to do: Buy Revenant prime, and subsume Pillage / Roar / Terrify. Mod accordingly. Equip Glaive Prime / Cerata / Xoris for aoe Tenet Cycron / Kuva Nukor / Epitath / Miter for utility Phenmor / Felarx / Laetum for single target PS: 328% power strength + corrosive projection for pillage, no range needed as it scales with duraiton 167% power strength + creeping terrify and a balance of duration and range for terrify

Frame survivability and objective defense (interception, mobile defense etc.) are something I really struggle with. Though, I see a light at the end of the tunnel and you've provided me with hope of finally getting past earth... some day in Steel Path... at MR26...

Oh right operator arcanes are nuts. I use the combo where each void dash stuns and sucks them together in a net. Super useful.

been playing it for a month, really love this game. first game that make me played it for 100+ hours in one month. but just hit mr12 & strugling to fight level 60 enemies 🤦🏻‍♂️, i'm really having a hard time understanding all the mechanics, especially priming, i understand the concepts but dont really know how to applied it correctly. watch all tutorials & builds but nothing seems to be working. then sometimes playing with random with mr lower than mine, but can one shoot high level enemies, really makes me feel everything i've been doing is wrong. & now i had to face kuva who keep leveling up when hunting it 🤦🏻‍♂️ really stresfull

It might seem counter intuitive, but I use ash. Not the prime one either because it's vaulted at the moment. The reason I use ash is because his passive increases slash damage. and his augment for his 4 also gives combo bonus when you use his 4. Which when used with the Inodem incarnon dagger is very deadly with fatal teleport. fatal teleport while invise allows you to take out those pesky exemist units with ease.

Good guide! Though, you did (IMHO) ignore Chroma's Elemental Ward (Emissive set to White to get Ice Armor) under Subsume abilities. I slapped that onto my Oberon (Who has a Rage mod to regen energy when shot at), and I can tank virtually anything while ALSO regaining enough energy to fuel his heal over time indefinitely as long as enemies are shooting at me. So far, the only Frame I like that I absolutely can't take onto Steel Path is Mag. You take 2 hits and your shields are toast. XD

Press 2 or 3 and your shield is back - easy, ps hunter adrenaline is bettrr than rage

adaptation isnt dr for status effects its the dmg type you take the most dmg to mostly it will be impact also cedo priming is better if the enemys are clumpt up same with xoris/zaw priming

transfer in and out of operator mode if you have the right arcane restores health... just saying seems to me to be better than shield gating.

For new players out there: don't even bother shield gating. The absolute majority of you will never go beyond enemy level 300 (because theres really no benefit besides the fun of it) and shield gating only starts being really necessary beyond these levels for some warframes (and beyond level 1000 for some others). Its a somewhat clunky mechanic that needs good timing and reaction, not what new players have and, to be honest, its a band aid for something DE dont really care that much (fixing shields).

Am I the only one using Condemn? I have Condemn instead of Molt on my Saryn. It's both CC and shield gating without needing Brief Respite, which leaves me to use Growing Power or something. I've thought about using Gloom instead, but it won't help me shield gate so I'll have to go Brief Respite or something...

rn, theres also the option of using grendels subsume for more energy gain from orbs as well as citrines for guranteed orbs

Great video. Very helpful as someone pretty new to the game. But what is the goal with getting to Steel Path? I mean, we all know Warframe basically doesn't have an endgame aside from continuing the grind but what is one grinding on SP?

You get steel essence and special enemies that drop arcanes like Primary Merciless.....you can use steel essence to buy riven mods, unlock weapon arcane slots and etc

Get yourself Nezha and you could survive on every steel path mission. Normal build is more than enough.

should I just be rolling on cooldown when using Rolling Guard? I'm having a really hard time surviving on Gyre in the steel path, been trying a lot of different things but Rolling Guard made the least sense to me when I tried it lmao

Came to just troll comment. Get Revy boy. Press 2. Don't die. Don't forget to occasionally press 2 again. He quickly became my favorite frame for not dying in content. I mained trinity before him because ... she is press 3 dont die. But it doesn't last as long and she doesn't have spin to win which clears the whole star chart. I need to find a good nova build.

Having to use shield gating and dragon keys on 90% of the frames just so they can complete steel path feels like a problem with the core of how damage and mitigation mechanics work. Using that build literally just says your frame doesn't make the cut, here is a bandaid.

For the sporelacer do you have it as a primary or secondary?

To clarify, having brief respite and augur mods aren't necessary to shield gate. They just make it easier to keep your shields refreshed. Shields are the only thing you need.

Corrupted and infested are very versatile factions because they have different type of enemies which are more prone to different elementals, so I would say on infested : viral+hunter munition/internal bleeding on your main weapon, corrosive+ heat on secondary, and melee perhaps slash+gas, the same goes for corrupted except melee would be pure slash without gas as there is only one infected there

The quests are really cool! (The main ones anyways.) You should definitely give them a shot. Some give cool gear and access to cool gameplay as well.

As long as you have the damage to kill enemies, use a frame that has an AOE disable. Like Hildryn, Limbo, Frost maybe. Not sure who else; I'm lame and usually stick to the same few frames for everything.

REALLY good tips. Specially Magus Repair. It saved me more times than I can count (f u toxin infested...)
