Be aware that they don't mention who their RCIC is on their website. By law this people are not allowed to give any immigration advice at all. Only Registered Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) and Lawyers are authorized to give immigration advice.

As a Canadian, it always makes me really happy to see immigrants adopting their new home with such eagerness. Like how Hockey Night in Canada has a punjabi broadcast. I think that's pretty wicked that so many punjabi-speaking Indians are so into hockey that there's demand for play-by-play in that language. Obviously I advocate learning English and/or French (which is generally never a problem with Indians given how widely spoken it is), but a lightning-fast sport like hockey is hard to follow in a second language. Also, very good review, quite detailed and accurate. Also lol'ed with how blunt you were: "yeah....don't bring your 'warm' jackets from home, they just aren't cutting it in Canadian winters." haha. Lovely couple.

Hey! You're comment is amazing! Just saying. I've applied for undergraduate programs in university of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Got an offer letter from Saskatchewan too! And honestly I am terrified coming to Canada cuz I belong to a tropical country? And have never experienced snow? And I am going to enter in december! Ughh I am ranting sorry. But yeah like you said most people here in India speak English cuz that's like an official language but as of French not many people do. Cuz it's not taught that much. And PS I am super scared I might freeze after getting out of the flight! Again just sayin

LuxuriantTv I have always wondered what are the thoughts of the locals living in Canada about the life there, especially in terms of expenditure. When we travel from a country with lower currency conversion rate to a higher valued currency, we are bound to find it expensive. Since you are born in Canada and live there, how would you describe the everyday expenses from a Canadian born individuals perspective? It would be great to hear from you! @CanadaCouple great video once again! Thanks!!

@@kajaldhamne1 I teach international students (mostly from India) so I am aware of how expensive everything seems to people who are new here. it’s important to note that just because a down jacket has higher fill power down in it, that doesn’t automatically make it warmer. It just means it will provide more warmth for the same weight of down. For example, a 650 fill power jacket with 400g of down in it will keep you warmer than a 750 fill power jacket with only 200g of down in it. But, if both jackets have 200g of down in them, the 750 fill power jacket will be warmer.

I am a Canadian born and bred, but I’m LOLing at this. It's easy--just move to Vancouver, the place where I was born. You will not need to worry about any of these lessons on extreme cold winter clothing. At the age of 21, I did move to Montreal for six years to do my university graduate degree and I learned the hard way about how to survive a "real Canadian winter." It was the worst six years of my life. Or you could just avoid all this and move to Vancouver instead. It’s “lotus land” and rarely gets below zero degrees C.

Great video but don't forget base layers. Don't forget about wool either. Unlike down, it continues to insulate your body heat even when wet.

Very cold weather, lower than -25. Wear wool mittens over leather gloves.
