Emily, I love your content and I have been following you for quite some time now. Thank you for sharing things no one ever tells or talks about. As a fresher in my career, listening to your content has really helped me. Could you make a detailed-elaborate video on how to do networking (essentially starting from what does it mean and how to do it and how can we gradually improve at it? Thanks again for alll the great and effective content you share❤
Content is helpful. Thank You
Emily I am soooo happy I found you! Your advice is beyond. I am one month in at a new corp job as an EA. I am an experienced EA but have entered a very old school environment. There isn’t much structure around onboarding training and the one person training me is quite demeaning. I am always kind and respectful but if I ask a question, she responds disrespectfully and as if I just asked the most outlandish question. My direct manager is so busy and overwhelmed with her own work that she outright told me I have to just learn everything but she offers no direction and that was right from day one. I am trying my best to learn what I can and I am very vocal about asking for help but I just have this gut feeling that I should run. I’m a professional and have a thick skin but this is just an atmosphere I have never been in. Help!!!! Please
I am happy that I found your channel
So I should avoid office politics ?
Super content, as always
identity tied to the proffesion you do is quite common. and yep, dont do it guys..it took me like 3 months after i quit my job to realize this..
You’re so real
My manager has a narrative of me that im trying to break by being more detailed driven person. But still sometime he ask my team if im giving proper requirements to them as opposed to asking them why they are not meeting ETA they have given themselves.

Thats such a hard spot to be in, I am sorry! My biggest advice is to doccument EVERYTHING! Including when people arent meeting deadlines.
hi emily 💖
I always find it hard to talk in calls when someone else is talking and I have a point to make. And most of the times I start talking and the other person will talk at the same time so then I usually apologise for cutting them but continue putting my point forth. And the people I work with with extremely kind so they don’t seem to mind it. But is there a better way to approach this?

Honestly this is so normal!!! I would say just dont be hard on yourself! Everyone does this!
I got made redundant today😢
corporate sounds so freaking petty wtf. Do people not have real problems in life or are they just all this self destructive with no impulse control?
youre really that girl
