Obtain these items by turning in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers or defeating random elites in the open world. Trade excess items at the Alchemist for a Malignant Cache, requiring Abstruse Sigils from salvaged legendary accessories. Varshan can also be summoned in World Tier 3, excluding the Malignant Heart.
🌳 Head to the Tree of Whispers to enter The Malignant Burrow and use the Malignant Altar to summon Varshan.
💥 Varshan deals heavy damage and poison attacks; maximize poison resistance and armor. Use an Elixir from the Alchemist and Diamond Gems on Accessories to boost poison resistance.
👊 Varshan's basic attacks include a cleave and a high-damage line attack that steals resources. Watch out for adds, as Varshan tries to consume them. Dodge ground telegraphs in cone shapes when tendrils are placed.
🥚 Defeating Varshan drops a mucus egg, one of two items needed to summon Duriel, King of Maggots.
