I would love to see a video of you pruning a wisteria that has been allowed to get out of control. We just bought a house with beautiful mature wisteria in the front and back. It has been neglected for many years and I don't know where to start with it. I have watched your pruning videos and they are very helpful, I understand how to do the late summer and winter pruning. However the trunks of our wisteria are like tree trunks with lots of thick off shoots coming out of them, should we cut some of those back?Thank you for the excellent videos. We live in Northern California.

Wow! Would love to see this in full bloom. Thank you for your knowledgeable information! NEW SUBSCRIBER!! Question: When planting for use on a pergola,...... Can you use another climbing plant that would bloom at a different time? Is there a companion climbing plant that could be paired with the Wisteria? My goal is to have more boom time. Realizing the Wisteria has only 4-6weeks bloom time, I was in hopes of the second companion climber blooming after/before the Wisteria. I just don't know if this is possible to do? Maybe a Clematis paired with the Wisteria? I hope you see this comment and will respond. Again, Thank You!

Hello Mr. The Fully Charged Gardener, I've watched all your Wisteria videos and was conviced to try my hand at raising a Lawrence cultivar into a tree, hopefully with a 3-foot tall trunk later on. I bought a non-flowered 1 to 1 & 1/2 year-old plant. It's currently Late July here in Texas, which means good rain and plenty sun. I'm unsure how to proceed with planting it since I've read planting in spring or fall is preferred or if I can plant it anyway. Soil is a clay-dominant, acidic loam. Should I prune it soon after placing it in a pot or wait for next summer or this winter? It has a fair amount of low green branches and a long main whippy shoot. Please let me know what you think.

Disappointed with this, seemed as if it would be good, but there is simply not enough close visual of what exactly constitutes a stem, and therefore where to cut. Stems on my wisteria seem to grow from other stems, all in some kind of cluster.....Far too much waffle, much of it repeated.

My bro, you babble and repeat yourself so much. This did not need to be a 12 minute video.
