Light orb spam makes your computer lag, it's definite psychological attack
Light orb reveals rogues in hide! While generally still not worth it, It can absolutely be useful in a Jaygriffyuh style 10 spell play style

A quick note to add is that ignite doesn't get the increase burn duration from fire mastery I'm not sure about the 5% damage bonus though

I take light orb every time now. I was using it just for fun for a few dungeon delves, then after I took it off and brought something else I was met with a bunch of "Can we get some light in here?" requests from my teammates. I guess I spoiled them, but at least they run over fewer traps as a result.

There are many different ways to play wizard, and a more supporting style like that is definently 1 of them! your teammates are blessed to have you.

type gamma on your windows search bar > click the color thing > click next 3 times > slide the bar all the way up > you’re ready to play dark & darker

@@manofhonor1685 The point of the fucking game is to be dark. It's literally in the fkn name. Hiding in the black abyss is a strat. You're the same type of person to reduce their graphics so enemies can't hide in bushes as easily in different FPS games.

Sweeeeeet. Looks so much forward to playing wizard on april 14 AND to watching the remaining episodes of this series. So glad i found your channel as I just watched all repoze and jaygriffuh. Only played rogue and fighter so far - now it's only wizard!

@@KenKnobi in hind sight that sounds hilarious - imagine if light orb actually was buffed to be bright enough that it would just completely wash out the brightness when viewed by all these players who've completely cracked up their monitor's brightness settings beyond what the game normally gives for brightness settings. Could totally be a valid combat choice if it were even brighter - take it and intentionally get your team to leave their monitor brightness at normal amounts so they can still see when it's cast, lmao. It would be a long lasting flashbang type effect at that point.

I was worried about that. If they change anything it will just be damage numbers, so the core fundamentals of how the spells works should be the same.
Is there going to be an exam at the end of this series?

4:48 i kill soo many people with lightning strike, it is not shit, you can cast it around corners. you just suck at using it. lol its actually S tier spell. run Fireball, magic missile, lightning strike, and either haste, zap or ignite... be rollin over the lobbies

pretty much it is just a 5% buff to magic missile, better to use arcane mastery or mana surge lol
