Hi Emily. Love the basic striped black and white tshirt outfit. It’s very simple but so fresh looking and I’m a sucker for anything black and white! Loved that copper blazer as well. I have a sweater that color and have been relegating it to the “what to I wear with that pile!!??” But I loved how you styled your blazer. Great options for white jeans. A question for you please Emily. You try some outfits and how do you make notes of your favorite ones? I’ve tried a couple of apps, to write in notebooks, to photograph… but I don’t feel inspired to go back on it in the morning to help me to pick one.

This is such a great question, I've been thinking about trying style apps but I also think I would be rubbish at using them. One thing I have started is posting a lot of my outfits on Pinterest for my followers to repost, and it's a good collection for myself as well, so I go back and look at these often to get ideas. (this also means I don't have to get an additional style app, because I use Pinterest all the time anyway). I also re-watch some of my own videos sometimes and that reminds me of outfits I have forgotten about. Another weird thing I do is repeat the same outfit over and over for a few days in the same week to try plant this outfit in my brain forever so I never forget about it!!! 😆

Aw 🥰🥰 thank you Annette. Have you tried a black top and nude footwear? I think if you wear heavy shoes like boots it looks better layered up and with more accessories. I probably wouldn’t pair white jeans with black sneakers and a black top either (that feels too heavy). Black sandals could work though as they would show some skin and soften it up? The espadrilles that I wore were black capped and the rest of the shoe was beige, so I think that helps as well ♥️

Lovely to hear back from you Emily 😊 Yes, I have quite a few nude, white, cream, beige, tan shoes and boots and I really do gravite more to them. I have no problems wearing an all black outfit and white loafers or flats and I think bookending looks so great on others, just not me 🤣🤣 Thanks so much as always for your advice and guidance, I shall keep playing about and see where it takes me xxx

@@EmilyElizabethMay I actually prefer midrise, as I have a very short torso. I guess you could say a midrise is my high rise 😆 I need to choose carefully. I'm yet to find my 'dream jeans' brand/style 😕 I have the - 8 hourglass as opposed to X hourglass. I have the well rounded bust and hips 😊

@@katem3961 yep I get you now 😌 jeans are up there with bras, being the hardest things to fit most women. If you find a great pair that you love, but there’s something tiny about it that need a small alternation, I would go with that, often small alterations are an extra $15 and they make all the difference! I decided to stay home with the kids, especially after the pandemic and realized I had no clothes that matched my new lifestyle. So I said…I lost my personal style! I put that on KZread and you showed up to the rescue. I have improved in this department since. I have things that I love that allow me to be my best as a mom. Now I just need T-shirts that will be my workhorse to play with toddlers😜 Anyways, love your videos and the content! Hugs!
