I have watched so many videos in the past two weeks. Your video is the first one that breaks down how to hold the flat iron and the different curls that you will get with the placement of the tool and how to twist it. Thank you thank you thank you! I couldn't pinpoint why I was always ending with tight curls every time I was using a flat iron, when I wanted more soft waves. I just figured out it's because I don't hold the flat iron at an angle, I was always holding it horizontally. You saved my life. ♥

Have you tried using a curling wand with no clip? Just wrap a piece of hair around it and hold it for 10 sec. Remington makes a good one that's super affordable.

Don't try to press the straightener really hard on your hair, it'll destroy it. :) You can do it! Practice makes perfect!

Start practicing with a cold flat/curling iron, trying to do what she does. Angles are important but also the temperature of your iron. The higher the heat, the more likely you are to get a curl and a curl that lasts. Try not to pull your hair so much so that you don't damage it. And find a good iron, not something that ruins your hair, like ceramic plate irons,not ones that just have a ceramic coat over them
