I tried following other tutorials but my amigurumi was still lopsided and lumpy. Nothing helped me except for this video. The hand movement to create a tunnel was a game changer. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Kayla, makes sense. I'm usually getting lumps so I see how this can help :)
Thank you for explaining this
Thank you. You explained how to stuff a project very well.
This is a very needed video for me, Kayla. Thanks for sharing!
I have watched several tutorials and this one worked the best for me. Thank you so much and lots of love from the Netherlands 😊
A good technique on how to stuff. The more you use the better the finish. Thanks Kayla.
Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
That's a cool way to do it. Thank you.
Still not brave enough for stuffed animals new to crochet. Working on a ripple blanket for easter. Thanks for this helpful video.
Very helpful, I don’t think I stuff enough sometimes! Thanks 😊
Your stitches look so nice and neat. Love that color. Thank you for demonstration. I’m never sure how much poly-fil i need.
I’m doing a panda right now so this is very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you now I think my stuffies will look better 😉 Have a blessed day 🙏 ❣🙃
This was very helpful 👍🤟
Thanks Kayla I'm new to making amigurumi so these tips are very helpful
Hi Kayla. Great tutorial. It's surprising how much they take to be full. At the moment my fill is coming from a sofa seat cushion. The actual back cushion of our old sofa. The centre seat was hardly used, so when we purchased a new one I took the cushion out from behind the leather and it's like new and a really soft quality filler. Take care and keep safe. xxJane
Good tips Kayla, thx!
Thank you for sharing I do the same thing when I make amirgurumi’s have a wonderful day hugs
never thought of that thanks for sharing
Great information!
Good tips:) Thank you!
I really like your method of how you stuff your amigurumis. I learned a lot today. I am working on bunny’s for my grandkids right now and I’m going to use your technique. Have a blessed day Kayla 💛🙏💛🙏
Thank you for showing how to do it, i don’t like filling...its never perfect, maybe now it will 🤗 and maybe a tip for the ladies ....i always buy a pillow, the inside is very suitable for filling and much cheaper.....greetings from The Netherlands / Holland
I get my 5lb box of stuffing at Hobby Lobby...just bought a box for $15. They never put the boxes on sale but it's cheaper that way than buying 5 bags of 12oz even when they are on sale.
It’s amazing how much poly-fill it takes for each ami. I’ve just finished my first 20 lb box. I’m thinking of getting a 10 lb box because I’m forcing myself to do something other than amigurumi. I always over stuff and use E hook.
Good tips on stuffing. This is the first time seeing one of your videos. Whatever that stitch is that you used, I’ve got to know. It’s nice and tight - perfect for amagurumi! Hopefully you have a tutorial about it.
I've been buying the premium poly fill by the bad. It's like $3.99 or $4.99 a bag. I've been wanting to buy it by the box. Because I make so many amigurumi. You stuff so methodically. This was really interesting to watch you how you stuff.
I never thought to pull it apart first. I've just been shoving the stuffing into my projects. I started using my fingers to spread it out after I watched a lady who does nothing but amigurumi. I can't think of her name right now. She took some time off after she had her last baby.
Hi Kayla! First let me say I’m continuing to pray for ur parents & u, big daddy & ur boys🙏💕. I love ur video & helpful tips & ur technique. I do pull my fill apart to fluff it, but u taught me a better way to fill my stuff, thank u so much😘😍. I’m asking if u will pretty please do a video on ur loom knit pocket babies🙏🙏. I did purchase the pattern but I’m a visual learner & can’t do it by the pattern. I know I’ve asked before but don’t know if u saw my request. I’d very much appreciate it Kayla, thank u & God Bless u & ur family🙏🙏🙏💕. Love hugs blessings & prayers, Donna🥰🙏💕
Thanks Kayla... This video has been helpful.
Enjoyed this lesson.
Thank you so much for your tutorial! I've spent days trying to stuff my project and this reassuring and kind video is the best I've seen and my big round plush is filling right up without lumps or flat spots! 😊😊😊😊
That’s a good idea. Thank you for sharing this. 💜🙏🏻
Very pretty color.

It's great to learn new tricks of the trade. I did this the other day when you mentioned it in the video on the cup. Loved this method. Blessed day to you all and continued prayers for you and your family. 🦜
Nice demonstration and advice. Now I’ll now what to do when making my amugrumis. Thank you.
Dear Kayla! Thank you for sharing this great tip! I never use to fluff it up, why I never thought of it is beyond me! Now my projects will look much better!! You have a new follower, clicked on Like and Subscribed! Bless you! Kind regards from South African 🥰🧶🌺
Aww a purple puppy! For Hazel? I'm going to make a purple cat for my youngest who's two. Her name is Alyx. She likes to help me put the floof in the plushies.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks I don’t make them because I don’t think I’m that good but if I ever try now I’ll know how to stuff them
Tfs Kayla I am new at this. I definitely impressed. All the bunny's I made are somewhat a quishy. ❤
I enjoy seeing your projects but seeing how much fill you use, I'm debating arigarumi now lol
Thankyou this was so helpful I have just started to make amigaromi . I’m still quite new to crochet and struggle when doing blankets to keep the ends straight mine always end up wonky . Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated
Very helpful, thank you 😊
