I have immediately applied your first advice and seen a lot of improvement! Before watching this video, I was overwhelmed solving all of the practice questions in a chapter and thought I was working hard. But in reality, I learned a little from my mistakes. After finishing a whole chapter in just shot, I didn't feel like reviewing my mistakes. And whenever I reviewed after finishing the whole chapter, I couldn't recall why I answered that option. After watching this video, I tried 5-questions-per-attempt method, and was clearly understanding every lessons. Thanks! May God bless you. ❤️

Hi there were some really great tips you have given I appreciate that also I wanted to know about how can I start preparing from crude level , I am good at quants & reasoning but verbal is is where it gets hefty how should I probably start my prep. Thankyou!!

Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate the same. As far as Verbal Prep is concerned, you will need to first cover the Grammar rules for SC. For this, you can go thru the SC overview that is provided in the GMAT Official Guide. It is particularly detailed in the latest edition, the OG 2020. Another good source for grammar prep for GMAT is the Manhattan SC guide. For Critical reasoning and Reading comprehension, there are no prior concepts necessary. Rather, you need to get familiar with the question types and the approach to follow. For this purpose, the detailed explanation given for each question in the GMAT official guide will serve as a good source of insight into the questioning. Hope this helps.

Sir,I like this video but Can u suggest me a book which is good for IPMAT exam specially for Verbal ability topics-Reading Comprehension,Idioms and phrases etc.

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE OG. And I started with the diagnostic test . I feel I am taking a lot of time In the diagnostic test. I just wanna know HOW TO START OFF WITH THE STUDY OF OG.

Hi. It is ok to take longer on the diagnostic test questions in the GMAT OG as you are just starting out. Timing will improve as you get more familiar with concepts and question types. You can start with the concept overview that's given before each section in the GMAT OG and then move on to the questions. Take small sers of 5-10 questions only, as explained in the video. Also go thru all the explanations. I want to which OG should I start from for 2021, there are 3 books I have gotten.

It does not matter which of the 3 books you start with because the questions don't overlap. Moreover, each book has the same structure: topic overview, then easy questions first, then moderate, and finally hard. The only difference is that two of the books are dedicated to the quant and verbal sections, and the main GMAT official guide contains both.

Please tell me regarding the sèlection of colleges which is required before the start of exam. Bcz the score at the end will decide the selection of college...what will happen if i dont select any college..thanks in advance

The advantage of selecting the 5 b-schools that you want the score sent to is that the scores are sent for free. If you decide later to send scores, there is a fee per request. Hence advisable that you mention the 5 b-schools that you intend applying to. It is not necessary to actually apply if you change your mind later.

Sir, can you pls let me know the difference between official guide 13th,12th editions and official guide 2020?

The 12th and 13th editions of the GMAT OG are over 8 years and 5 years old respectively. The later editions of the OG, including the 2020 and 2021 editions have many improvements and overall a better quality of questions. If the exam you are referring to contains sections on Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability, then the GMAT Official guide can be used as an additional reference or as a substitute if no other book is available.

The solutions given in the Official GMAT guides (OG) are pretty detailed, so you can depend on them. In Math questions, the solutions might seem lengthy at times and there are usually faster ways to solve such questions either by the process of trial and error or back-solving.

I am getting OG solutions for 2k (INR) extra do you think its a worthy investment

The Official GMAT Guide has solutions for all questions published in the book. So there is no need to pay anything extra for the same.
