Sure! Always address the question and ‘laser in’ on two or three points you will address in detail throughout the body of the essay itself

can you make a list on things we should include in an essay e.g. context, lenses etc

@@tssukiee no 😭 but from what ik about good essays you should include; analysis of the text, context, readers interpretation (lenses), authorial methods (devices), writers intention, comparisons to other texts of the time i.e is the text ur studying typical of its time

It for me reminds me of the combination of Gatsby’s desire for love and wealth - that he ascribes financial gain from her physical beauty. He can’t separate his pursuit of her from his pursuit of wealth as a whole
