Once again you guys saved my bacon. I was halfway through dismantling the drivers seat in my 2006 L322 and could not be certain how to completely remove the seat back to find a broken wire to the heating element. A quick search and once again you had a video. And once again a picture is worth a thousand words in the manual. I was able to find the broken wire. It had broken at the point it is bonded into the heater matrix. Damned difficult to commit the necessary surgery but now I get a warm bum in the morning. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If I lived in Britain I'd drive over and buy you both a couple of pints.

This video and the one on removing disco front seats are so helpful. I have just bought a 2012 RRS which has an annoying creak coming from drivers seat and having these videos as a guide will hopefully help me locate and fix the issue as I’m sure the mounting and fixtures will be similar. 👍👍

You'll probably find the two pin plug has pulled out of the control panel on the valence at the base of the seat

Would love to see similar for L405 seats, I have a 2017 L405 and both front seats will not hold pressure in the lumbar section, any suggestions or a video with potential causes and fixes would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for the video but my seat is different from yours. I don’t have the plastic part of the seat on the upper part. Also, there are not bolts/screws located at the bottom of my seat.

Ok question. Do you think I can pull the head rest off with the screens and attached them to seats that have no screens. Found some prestige seats at salvage yard but they don’t have screens as mine do

I have a later L322 ROVER RANGE III FACELIFT 2 - 2009 to 2012 there’re no screws at the bottom to release the rear plastic, is the a video for this model? I need to access the lumbar support. Thanks Tony

@@ralph8594 Yes, if you follow the video until the part where they say remove the screws it's the same, however, there are no screws. The plastic is held either side of the seat. Under the seatbelt cover and the seat belt holder cover, the plastic is moulded over a long metal cog fixing on both sides. You need to flex these out and at the same time push the top of the plastic cover downwards, you may need 2 people. 1 to hold the bottom part of the plastic out and one to push or tap with a rubber hammer downwards. There are no screws or other fixings. I hope that helps.

Hi guys, any info on the seat heater circuit please? I have cooling but no heating on the drivers side. Passenger seat has it all working, and the led's on the dash control for the driver seat light up in sequence as they should. After you saying the seat movement might affect conne tions was about to take the whole seat out after discoñecting the battery for several minutes first. Great video as ever many thanks..

Hi - i think this is what is controlled by the top button on the control panel at the 0:50 second point. The button has 4 arrows - up down control the headrest. Left right control the top section of the seat.

@@L663 interesting... my 4.2 S/C is the facelifted 2007 model and it seems the upper section angle can no longer be controlled. Maybe it was causing problems and removed it from the facelift!
