Hey brotha. Love the content. I would like to see an “ultimate” house shot guide. What exact types of balls/cores, what surfaces, layouts, and when to throw certain balls. I think that would be a super informative video for all bowlers. I’ve seen so many different opinions and would love a full breakdown in 1 video. Keep up the good work.

Thanks a lot! This makes sense. This is stopping me from consistent 200 games

What if you're left eye dominant? Where do you start out? I'm a right handed bowler, but left eye dominant.

I primarily just use the faballs on the house shots. For the control they give me. But sometimes i use reactive. That's just my opinion, though.

I'm a75 y/o I throw a 13# fingertip Twist ball. My speed is between 10 $ 11 1\2 mph. I tend to leave a 10 pin, a 7pin and almost all of my strikes are a brooklyn. I stand left side i am between the second and third arrow. I would like to be more consistent. Any help

Question, do you start with a weaker control ball on THS , then go to stronger balls as the night progresses, or do you go strong out of the gate, balling down as you run out of room to the left? TIA.

My favorite ball is the IQ Emerald (14 lbs). This is what I figured out is the difference between getting a strike and not getting a strike. First, your aim has to be good. I throw straght up the second arrow. I get my hand under the ball (solidly behind the ball is probably more like it) and make sure my index finger is pointing straight down. When I let the ball go I try to keep low (you don't want to drop the ball onto the lane) and I bring my hand around the ball as I let it go (sort of like throwing an underhanded football). But this is what I notice is the biggest difference between getting a strike (or at least a much better chance of getting one) as opposed to not getting a strike: If I don't bring my arm back far enough in my swing, I just don't generate the right power and speed. It can be a matter of just a few inches in how far you bring your arm back on whether you hit the pocket or miss it. I can also strike throwing the ball from the left side of the lane and having it hook back, but I'm not consistent with repeating, getting all the details just so. Hooking the entire lane (or close to it) is more difficult than keeping your shot more or less straight.

It’s not consistent, it’s better to hit the pocket.
