You take a screenshot, then you create a mask in a photo editor, then you create another source and cut the part you want with that mask

Using the image mask filter in OBS. You will need to create the masks externally as PNG files. I'll make another video going more in depth.

Fantastic video as usual, the only question I have about it is, what multi-chat method do you use with the horizontal chat on streams recently? I love the horizontal chat and its always used in my streams but have no idea how to make it work with multichat. Is that something you could do a video about, or is there a lot of coding etc that's been done that wouldn't work for a video?

i noticed when using the restream chat for multiple streaming platforms you have to go in every time and select the youtube broadcast that you are going live with. especially if youre changing stream titles regularly. the one thing about youtube and restream chat i didnt like for youtube is there is an impressive amount of delay.

Make a mask in Illustrator/Affinity Designer/Inkscape/your graphics program of choice. Right click your gameplay > Add a filter > Image Mask/Blend > Select alpha channel in the drop down > Select your mask (should be a PNG file) That's basically it.

Whenever I add a second scene on AITUM Vertical it just fucks up all of my transitions. I tried deleting the transition matrix and all things related to no avail. I didn't want to program scene as sources showing up and hiding whenever I change horizontal scenes but I might have to. Oh well

You are a real professional when it comes to keyboards. I really need the advice of a very knowleadgable person in keyboards. I bought the razer huntsman mini and then I heard of the woothing 60e. I want to say that I have really low experience with expensive keyboards but for whatever reason my vulcan roccat tkl feels nicer and more premium on touch - could be the back, the case etc, maybe its because its plastic and its more user friendly? than the razer huntsman mini. (i have the purple switches on my razer and no analog ones atm) - paid 120$ for it My question is, if I buy the woothing do you think it will be a change in percieved build quality since I head its made by plastic? Is it worth doing the upgrade? The most important things for me is performance and build quality. (woothing is 180$ in my country) - I am really sorry for the off topic but I think it helps you with the algorithm too

Can I ask if this was successful? currently this is what I'm trying to do as well, horizontal for twitch and aitum for vertical on youtube. Based off a comment I saw, looks like I have to schedule the stream each time on youtube before going live on aitum.

Make a mask PNG file then add it with an "Image Mask/Blend" filter over your gameplay. You should use Source Clone to make a clone of your gameplay first, then apply the mask to the clone, otherwise you will crop your whole gameplay source.

So the only issue I have come across here is, if you are triple streaming, you can't use vertical for 2 different sizes you can use vertical for a 16:9 and have all your twitch alerts seperare so they only show on twitch and you tube only shows on youtube, and if you use the multisrream plugin instead you can't make separate scenes to sepersre the twitch and you tube elements. It would be great if vertical allowed different screen sizes. Or multistrwam plugin allowed it's own scenes

I normally multi using restream and just hit go live. If i add the vertical stream key, is it just as simple as hitting go live, or do i have to do the schedule go live first and then does it obs tell YT that im live or do i go to the schedule and part to make it happen

You have to schedule it every time unfortunately. I wonder if it's possible to make a second Restream account and doing it that way. Might be worth trying.

Hope you make a point system plogin for KZread. Lots of them come out over the years but never stay updated. i always want a point system for my views to bet on me winning.

Waitwaitwaitwat! If you have auto-start and auto-stop enabled, why should you keep the one off? If both are on, then you will start over and over again after a crash from OBS itself. Right?

hello i'm currently live trying to test this out (streaming vertically and horizontally on YT) viewers can only find only horizontal stream, not vertical. help :)

Views during the broadcast don't count towards the normal view count after the stream. But any views after the stream count as regular views.

Hardest thing is to remember the order to start everything so my BOTS know to work with the main stream as they cant work with multiple YT streams on the same channel at same time.

Use Multi-RTMP! Then make sure to set all instances to “faster” or “fast” preset for the best experience (no lag).

Subscriber only chat will help filter the chaff. I had problems with bots chatting for a while, that's really the only way to cut a lot of garbage

Literally every KZread bot will have the same permissions. KZread does not divide their scopes sensibly, so you end up needing excessive permissions just to read chat messages. Not the developer's fault, it's KZread.

Unfortunately, the plugin uses quite a bit of the resources, which is why I don't want to use it

Thanks for the video! Does this worry you at all about getting new subscribers that won't watch your videos? I worry about that a lot and that's what's stopping me. These shorts streams tend to get a ton of exposure. I don't want a bunch of dead subs who only watch shorts when my channel is long form.

KZread doesn't care about sub count. Dead subs don't matter as much as people think they do.

idk what I'm doing wrong but OBS just crashes when I try to run both to stream. Was doing Twitch as a normal view and YT in vertical layout. I click stream for Twitch. then Stream for YT and it crashes. Any idea why it is? Thanks community.

I know the plugin ask for my youtube information but apart from that do i need the plugin to multi stream or would aitum do the job to stream to youtube only. My main use for aitum is to record but just thought of streaming vertically to youtube/instagram/tiktok

@@JxKINGx no prob. Also, if you have streamlabs cloudbot in particular, I’m not sure what it goes off of but I think it only joins the second live stream that you start. Nightbot I think will go to both but the streamlabs bot doesn’t. Not sure of any other bots
