Hi, I use a similar method to get through a course, including Reddit and FB, but I immediately jump to the PA. The PA, if aligned with the OA, allows you to have a targeted focus on areas that you’ll likely be tested on for the OA. The one thing I can say that is sometimes a downside to this method of going to Reddit & FB is that sometimes I allow the feedback regarding course difficulty from some students get in my head, which leads to over studying or doubting my readiness. Thank you for taking the time to do the video and providing your perspective with the goal of helping your WGU peers. I’ll be back for more of your insight and wish you success in your journey.

You are absolutely correct man. Most colleges are out there to get money. However, WGU is absolutely the opposite. Yes they need money to keep afloat. They need money to keep the college going. However, them allowing you to take as many classes as you want and not charging you an extra penny at all shows that they are in it to get students to be able to graduate at the most affordable possible way. Hi, thank you for this video. I would like your opinion on my situation. I graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science at a central new york college. Afterwards, I worked for 2 years in a position unrelated to my degree but then my contract ended and I have been unemployed and unbale to find a job that I am interested in which will accept me. I have money saved so I am able to survive. I want to do something in software. So I found WGU and talked with an enrollment councilor and sent them my transcript to get into the software development program. (What is suspicious to me is that they accepted me way too fast. As soon as I applied, I received a phone call from them not even 20 seconds later). I am now waiting. Am I choosing the correct path? I have no real work experience in IT and the only experience that I have with independent study is differential equations in college. I am completely unsure if I have the capabilities to teach myself if there is no help at all from other students/teachers. But at the same time, the low tuition cost at WGU and potentially quick time to receive a degree is very tempting. Should I give it a try?
@live42Day
2 жыл бұрын
So honestly they accepted you because you met certain criteria. I initially applied to the IT college and I was not accepted because I did not have experience in the field. I believe it's your bachelor's degree you already have. May have gotten you into the program or accepted into the program. One thing I know is you're really never alone at WGU. There are so many services there that will help you learn something, if you need it. WGU has been absolutely amazing. Any quick time? I have a question. There was someone I could ask. I know the IT department or the IT courses offer a lot of free credentials like Mike like in your a+ certificate and all those different type of certificates at no additional cost. It really is a great value

I highly recommend getting grammarly because a simple grammar mistake can cause your paper to get kicked back and it's always good to have a second pair of eyes, look at your paper. Also make your paper simple. Only answer the questions. Don't try to add too much extra information that could potentially get your paper kicked back. Simple is better

@live42Day

Nope some classes require a test and others require papers. It's about 50/50
I’ve graduated already with an AS-T for Business Administration & Economics from a Community college and transferred to a university but dropped out because of my mother, she had to get emergency surgery and I’m her prime care taker. Im putting her first. So I can’t take care of her as easily if I do in person classes so I’m looking to transfer to WGU and finish my bachelors in Accounting but not sure how to go about that. I submitted my application already though and since their doing it for free rn with the transcripts too, I’m just waiting to hear from them but kind of nervous to be rejected 😔 Is WGU actually accredited and will employers and cpa-firms accept it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance 🙏 🤲

Can I transfer credit before admission? Or after admission I can transfer some credit?

I'm having such a hard time its ridiculous, I've been to school 3 other times already, and was successfully and now that I've decided to get another degree , its making me feel some kinda way. Today I took an exam today and failed it, it may have been 5-7 questions that was on the study guide really discouraging

What kind of jobs can you expect with a business degree, salary etc? What are your tips for essay requirements?
@live42Day
2 жыл бұрын
I highly recommend getting grammarly because a simple grammar mistake can cause your paper to get kicked back and it's always good to have a second pair of eyes, look at your paper. Also make your paper simple. Only answer the questions. Don't try to add too much extra information that could potentially get your paper kicked back. Simple is better
