The annoying part is when the pods aren’t spacious enough and all you have is huge boxes. That’s why I hate stowing lmao if all items were small it would be the best thing ever.

if you think a box fits in a pod and you already scanned it but it actually doesnt fit so you take it out, can you put it back in its yellow tote and move on to another tote with smaller items to scan put in the pods? sorry for this long question😂 i started stowing recently and i only got like 3 mins of training

You scam them red label first to be able to stow it and when your done with the items in the box, that’s when you press empty container and then scan the red label to take it off the system

i'm still confuse at master pack and case set , its my 2nd week , my trainer said if theres "Pack of #" in the screen its a Set! but Sometimes theres some packages that have that "6Count " (for example) and the screen says open the package and stow individual. So do you a have a tip how to easily tell if its a case set and a master pack?

The difference is between items sold as kit or individual. And sometimes you must separate each one. Don't leave your dropzone with questions, ask whatever you need to.

My manager told me she doesn't want me getting a 3rd write up.

I'm a stower and I got 2 write ups for productivity. I've been at Amazon for 2 months. I injured my right knee on the step ladder and I put an accommodation while my knee is hurting so I can do something else instead of going up and down the ladder. Since my accommodation got denied, they put me on a leave of absence. I'm very upset about it.

You don’t drop a container unless is problem solve and that’s managers work so if container don’t work goes to problem solve always create andonss when your pod don’t work or come or no work is being bought to you by water spider”low on work” crest a andon that way you don’t get in trouble by your supervisor or get “Tot” time time of task AlwYs create one if there’s a problem with anything that way youdon’t get in trouble for standing there or not doing nun there’s a options of andons to press you just press” create andon” then there’s options of what may be wrong and you just Clíck it then it also says if you can still continue working either press yes or no

How does the system know which spot you put it in though. Is some one somewhere else doing audits on these bins to "Scan" everything in? I get that when you "Stow" you are scanning the item into the pod, but more specifically, when you watch people "pick", it tells them exactly which spot its in... How does the system know if you are just placing them ANYWHERE in the whole pod

There's sensors so it knows where you put it, if you've seen those till less stores Amazon have it'll be similar tech to that.

I start on August 4th. Do you think they’ll have me doing this the first couple of days? I’m not sure if I’ll be good at it but does it get easier? 10hrs 1:20am 11:50am. Any advice?

Question! What’s the timer they give you? Is there a timer on each box you have to finish. And how would I know if I’ll be a stower? I’m going to my appointment this Monday and it’s warehouse team member fulfillment center. But they didn’t give me a position yet. Do they tell you when you get there? I hope I’m a stower because I like being by myself.

They say 10 seconds. To scan a box everytime but if you don’t I don’t believe you are in trouble I sometimes take 1-2 minutes when I go use the restroom or get water but to know your position right now log in to the A to Z amazon app the blue one on apple store or google play store and go to where your profile is and click job details and scroll down and it should say right away!

Bro, where do you see if the items come in bundles or single units? Is it when you scan the red label or once you are scaning the items to stow them? Cause it’s very commin to order one item and get shipped a two pack lets say

Once you scan the item on the screen it should tell you if it’s an “open package” or “do not open” package and that’s how you know if your supposed to open it or not

What if I get a runny nose 👃 would I get fired i gotta blow .my nose alot

I work as an Amnesty tech and yeah it is easy and chill. Way better than being stuck at a station all day.

@@thedoc8876 ask your supervisor where your amnesty team is located and they will tell you and you just go to them and say you wanna sign up for the class then they add your name and once they have spots they send you a message while you’re working at your station when you can go

@@thedoc8876 yeah pretty much just have decent rates and ask your manager. Then go to the QB desk and ask for an application. Also have a minimum of 15 upt and no write ups. It’s pretty laid back but has its days when you’re walking non stop.

Good vid but your sled needs to have several boxes of various size products open and all ready to go, that way you don't have to bypass pods... I believe you get points against you for bypassing certain number of pods. Oh they really sabotaged me w the sizes of product ... NOTHING would fit into the pods and the smalls are always packed. But I figured out all the tricks LOL I'm curious for an update to see how long you put up w the crap!!

I work at hazmat FC new building we don’t have the robots and literally grab a scanner and battery then a cart with items and walk down these long hall things that have boxes and shelf’s for you to stow the items.

Well if you are talking about the tak number or a certain rate really depends the floor you are in oay your amazon facility because I get told to be at a tak number of 14 the max and a rate of 250 items per hour but you don’t got to be fast that’s crazy my building always pushes for us to be fast but you don’t wanna be busting your ass to much never !!
