    Temperatire, Moisture, Light and storage materials to keep the air coming in but letting the bean to breath out = HAPPY GREEN COFFEE BEANS.

    Thank you for the tips. You mention synthetic bag to store beans during shipment. Can you share more about synthetic bag storing method during shipmemt.

    I store mine in a 1 kilogram coffee bag, in a plastic storage bin in my bedroom which has a fairly consistent ambient temperature.

    I have 500lbs green coffee bean coming? Should I just get a huge plastic container?

    That's a lot. I would split it up into several food-safe plastic containers. A 50 lb bag is about the size of a medium suitcase. I would also consider adding desiccant packs to the container to absorb moisture if your goal is long term storage.

    @@roastedgrounds thank you, but don’t you think those large plastic container still absorb air since the top cover is not completely seal and entrance way for insect might crawling in?

    @@TristianandCo Yes the food-safe containers should be airtight as well.
