I noticed that you are coming from the horses head to the top of your coil in a clockwise direction so that the weight of the rope can pull or feed out the first coil by itself putting more slack in the rope. If you wrap your coils so the rope feeds counterclockwise from the bottom of the loop to the top of the coil the coils will not uncoil themselves.

Good tip. I have never had that issue with my coils in the past. But, that does sound like a good technique. Thanks for sharing and visiting this channel. Cheers-TE

Great info… if possible can you make a video on how to keep your horse still while saddling & mounting also a video about the proper way to tie a horse inside a trailer? Thanks

Frank, I have your questions added to my work list. I have a few other questions from other folks to answer first, through videos. I will circle back to answering yours. Wishing you the best. -TE

Good and interesting videos. I try to use the get down rope but for me is so unuseful . I prefer to tied my horse with reins or with halter (traditional leather halter with lead rope always attach no scissor).what do you think about tied horse with reins?

I know a lot of folks who tie with reins. I personally don't, unless it is with my mecate reins tied in a special way. Most of the time I just use hobbles to park my horse. Leather and nylon halters I like to use when transporting a horse inside of a trailer. This is due to them being able to lean into the halter with no issues unlike a rope halter. I like my rope halter for training. When leading a horse or mule I like a side pulled halter with lead rope. Cheers- TE

@@FranzValer I never tie a finished bridle horse to an object with reins. Ground tie or hobbles is the way to go.

Thanks. My question is what kind of knife do you carry. Is it a fold or short fix blade?

No reason for a get down rope if you use a rope halter and lead line converted to reins.
