Bro, they got a Vizsla. My neighbour has a Vizsla. He would walk that dog one hour in the morning. Then go jogging with her for an hour and a half in the evening. And then right after the jog, she would run sprints around her backyard and bark at my dogs. Those dogs are **EXTREMELY** active. To a point where you have to walk them for over 2 hours a day, and for some Vizsla dogs that's still not enough exercise. Vizsla's are extremely athletic. Edit: Actually I can see her right now from my upstairs window doing laps in her backyard. lol

Vizsla are originally hunting dogs and I have seen them as well as a cousin of the breed the Rhodesian ridge back become great obedience and trialing dogs what you have written is just a case of someone not training their dog and in the case of the puppy not knowing how to train and socialise a puppy. What milan did has nothing to do with both just a simple trick you can teach any dog in five minutes which has nothing to do with informing the owner of the dog what they actually should be doing.

Ikr! We only have a little Bedlington cross whos 10 years old and we walk him 2/ 3 times a day for a good 3 hours in the morning at 8 am then a hour or so around 5pm and he still has energy when we get back from the walks😂 I don’t think a lot of people realise how much physical exercise their dog actually needs to stay fit and happy

The dog will go by your energy. Are you a 'leader' type personality or a 'follower' type personality? If you have a strong assertive energy you can stop the unwanted behavior. If you show or have any sign of weakness or fear, that dog will and can pick up on that energy. You also have to understand your dog's bite. Is it a playful bite or more agressive/insecure/unsure bite? If the dog has a playful bite you have to teach the dog when and what type of biting is appropriate, e.g. playing with the dog you can allow your dog to 'bite' but you need to also know and understand the pressure of the bite. Having pull ropes with a ball attached is a good game of playful biting. Never use your hands unless you know what you are doing. I have learned that one myself and through that, it taught me the different pressure bites in play. I hope you understand what I am trying to say here. If the dog is trying to bite you when you are not paying the dog attention and he or she wants to play, you have to let them know, that now is not the right time just by either a word or a sound and your energy will let the dog know, that that is not the behavior you want at that time. When you iniciate the play and show the dog attention when you are ready, again the dog will pick up on your energy and think oh now daddy wants to play with me. Hope you get it sorted.

Our newly adopted Husky/German sheperd has exactly the same issue. My wife had a few biting marks from her and almost had a mental breakdown. Last night we finally made a hard decision to return her to the shelter. As a last-ditch attempt, we looked for the solutions and came across your video by luck. What a godsend!! I tried your approach this morning and it worked like a charm. She is incredibly smart and she gets it right away. The problem is never the dog; the key is how to find the effective way of communication so your dog knows its place and knows the boundary of what it can do vs. cannot. Now her demeanor totally changed! We couldn't believe this was the same dog. Now we will most likely keep her. And I cannot thank you enough Cesar!

There is nothing in this clip to suggest her lifestyle doesn’t fit the breed. It only suggests and highlights the lack of proper knowledge/research on how to train the dog. She very well may be a good fit for this breed of the training aspect is addressed. She seems like she has the aspect of living with the dog dog, being willing to spend time with the dog, and involving the dog down. She was just completely naive on what she needed to do to train the dog.

@@chriswhetton3584 I think people highly underestimate the amount of energy these dogs have. If you are not in the game to give it daily exercise, mental stimulation and training these working dogs can get nuts inside a house. We adopted a working cocker who was left by 3 or 4 families before reaching 1 year old. She looks incredibly cute but the amount of energy is too much for most people. We almost gave up on her in the first week as well. After one month of daily training, long walks (probably still short for her) along with fetch plays mixed with training and some mental games she became a lovely companion. But it is a lot of work.

I feel so bad after seeing this. I gave up on a 6 month old German working breed AKC doberman because he nipped at my mom and drew blood. He was already 90lbs. I loved that dog. I cried so much giving him up to the AKC rescue. I just couldn't afford training and he would not stop pacing in house. When I would put him in his crate he would make this "whistling noise" all I wanted was for him to please just lay down but he was always "ON" pacing sitting straight up. I wondered if he was psychologically wrong or if it was just me. I've had 6 other dogs in my lifetime not Dobermans but non have been like this. :(

Thank you for helping me see I’m training my pup the right way. It’s a lot of work, and being so tired with a large puppy, it’s easy to get discouraged from just being consistent with the pup. Over and over, but the results are starting to show. Thanks again, Sir.

It is shocking so many people have no clue what they are doing with their Dogs I see it daily walking my Dog I see people being dragged by their Dog and rewarding bad behavior because they are just so clueless Cesar has helped so many people over the years it’s amazing how much he has online for free basically and people just don’t even look anything up they just stumble through life being dragged by their dogs bit by their dogs having their food taken by their dogs

I saw someone being dragged by a several month old Dobie pup down the sidewalk today - I called to her, "Why don't you lose the harness and get a martingale collar?" I explained that using a harness connected on top of the dog was like the pup was pulling a sled! She claimed the dog is fine and it was because she was wearing slippers and sliding along the sidewalk. Geez give me a break.

Yes... I followed Caesar advise with my 5 month old Yorkie... and this approach works ... my dog used to try to rush pass me to eat .. She goes to a sit ... and waits waits for the release word .. of... Ok!! Then she eats .. but she sits near by in a calm state waiting .. I love it.. thank you Caesar..!

We have a seven year old Viszla and he's the best dog I've ever known and I'm on a two-year waiting list for another one. They key here is that a Viszla is a high energy dog and loves his family and needs to be with you. They're called a 'velcro' dog for a reason. They need to be exercised to burn off that extra energy, especially when they're a puppy! They are an amazing breed but you need to know how to manage them. Simple.

Exactly! I owned Weimaraner's for 35 years. Awesome dogs, that need to be with family. Theses dogs are working dogs and extremely Intelligent and need exercise daily. They make wonderful family dogs if the owners understand the breed! So many people don't research the breed, just get the dog because they are "cute" and then get rid of it because it's just a "crazy" dog!
