Our break up was so cold and brutal. and it was after a year of an amazing relationship. I couldn’t function for weeks. Didn’t sleep. Stalked social media. Texted when I knew I shouldn’t. Almost lost my business. But one day It, it felt lighter. I started training my body, pursuing Jiu Jitsu. I worked on my business. I started going back out to places we would go to, by myself, to enjoy it for me like I used to. I haven’t heard from her in weeks, and finally, that fire has stopped consuming me, and has become an inner fire, fueling me instead of consuming me. I’m not ready for any kind of dating yet, but for the first time in over a year since we met, I care about being the best me, for me again.

I hope you're okay man. I hate to say this, but the fact you commented on this still implies you still didn't forget. We're all here for the same reason & I'm just attempting to calm thoughts until I move back to California from the midwest in a month. I wish you well on your journey, and always be aware of the red flags because they'll show themselves in a few ways before the heartbreak & don't allow lust to cloud judgment.

    1. They don't care about you. 2. Turn your pain into your pleasure. Pursue healthy interests. 3. They are wrong for you - what they've done is not what you need. Associate with people who accept and appreciate you; who reciprocate your love. 4. Use next 21 days to practice moving on. Stop talking about them. Embrace a passion project. Do things you enjoy. Eliminate toxic habits. Associate with good people.

@@Nika-sq7gd Yes, it's hard. If you're still traumatised, it's consuming. Dr Les Carter's KZread channel has been most helpful to me. Also Dr Lundy Bancroft's book Why Does He Do That? for understanding the abusive mindset. Understanding that abuse is not about the victim is key. It's not your fault that you were bullied/manipulated/mistreated. I hope you can practice self care, self compassion, and spend time with people who love you. If you don't know Jesus/Yeshua, try the Alpha course. He loves you and knows what happened. Courage and peace to you. You are Someone worth loving, not no-one.

The breakup after a 15 year marriage was brutal, cheated on and discarded - it hurt so much. But I did what you did: started to go to the gym, started eating better and lost 50 lbs. My daughter told me: Mom, go and make that pain your bi*ch - I did. It took 18 months of grieving and improving myself. I emerged a stronger, healthier person .. emotionally and physically. My finances have improved drastically, allowing me to travel and for the first time purchase a car I liked … This shows that healing and start living the life you truly want, is possible at any age …

They may have hurt you. But you cannot assume they are happy. Or doing better. Or living their best life. People hurt you, sometimes unintentionally. And because they are going through shit themselves, that they cant address and you end up getting hurt/heartbroken. You wont know that they may cry at night for what they did to you. Or feel remorse/regret. You may never know. Just because when you see them, they look happy IN THAT MOMENT, its just a moment. We also all move on at different times. Being the "dumped" you will always be a few steps behind the "dumper". Expect it. But you're time will come. Its misleading to believe the one that hurt you is ontop of the world. Nobody knows what other people are thinking behind closed doors. We can all put on our game face! Xxx

Thank you for this video. I'm definitely guilty of wanting to see the best in others to a fault. My naivety created the perfect environment for people to use and abuse me. It wasn't until I decided to take full responsibility for teaching them how to treat me that I was able to start healing. I still care and it still hurts because some of these people are my own parents and siblings that I had to cut out of my life to protect myself while I heal. I care enough to let them go with compassion and release the anger. But I choose to care more about my own well-being to wish them the best from a distance. It's such a painful journey and wish anyone who's on this same journey all the love and healing that they deserve ❤️

yes quit caring about them because they dont care about you. I have a friend who lives nearby and we would walk together and I thought enjoyed each others company but then she stopped walking and start doing stuff with her sister and daughter so I have to let go but it does hurt so badly. Yes, I will never be good enough for the wrong person, time to find other friends. Finally realizing I deserve better. Going to search for like minded people, thank you. People who will bring you up rather than idiot who hurt you.

I got over a 2 year relationship with my BPD ex gf who had many covertly narcissistic traits in 1 month. All I had to do was look up narcissistic abuse and it literally hit all the checks. It hurt a lot at first trying to accept that she wasn't what I idealized her out to be....but it eventually made me feel better. I started taking care of myself. I started loving myself. I had a huge body transformation in a month because I quit drinking and smoking weed along with meal prepping. I downloaded bumble and started getting around 20-30 matches a day. I mingled and went on many dates. Now I'm seeing a woman who treats me the way I had to beg my ex to treat me. I often look back and I seriously wonder why I ever settled for less than I deserved. Know your worth people! No one else gets to determine your value besides you! ♥️🙂

Gosh, I wish I had known about this 40+ years ago. It would have helped me bounce back from some betrayals, e.g., the first time I fell in love after we broke up, she confessed to having cheated on me with one of my "friends". I went into a downward spin and it took me several years to "get back on track".

Thanks for this. I needed to hear this today. Yesterday I had a call from a former work colleague who had a blow out with another colleague who had hurt me deeply in the past. After that call I was tempted to reach out to my old friend and offer my support because it sounded like she was extremely short-staffed and her life was falling to pieces. Then I thought: « Why on earth would you want to help a person who backstabbed you to others, bullied and criticised you bitterly over nonsensical things, and the told you to your face that she had ignored you on your birthday-not because she forgot but just to spite you for making them ”depressed”? » I typed into KZread Search “I want to help someone who hurt me” and your video was the only half-relevant thing that showed up. You’re right. I should not look back. She made her bed.

I also have really low self esteem so I always blame everything on myself which has led to strong anxiety and stress which has led to Missophonia and Fatigue Syndrome so yes, getting left on read is a big deal to me. Unfortunately.

I recently just escaped a narc boss and now I’m studying poker. It’s really true that turning your energy back to yourself will heal you and as you begin to see real changes in your life, you feel proud of yourself. You realize you can do anything you want - or at least try anything. You don’t need anyone’s approval. Then you start to GLOW. In a way, narcs ultimately gave me a much better life

This video really spoke to me. My ex and I were together for 3 years. It was long distance but he would come here to nyc to visit me for a week or so. He would never compliment me, never say he loved me first unless I said it, would gaslight me, and he lied to me about loving me. He broke up with me 2 months ago and he told me that he’s already with someone else. He’s happy and I’m depressed and angry thinking about how he screwed me over. I didn’t realize it until after the breakup that he had been emotionally abusing me the whole time. He was emotionally distant and cold most of the time and I ignored every red flag. Makes me feel like such a fool.

As awful as the lockdown was it was that which helped me recognise I was being manipulated and controlled … soon as I realised I ended it . @@annahurst3770 very beautifully said. I too did not want to believe who he really was for a long time. He even warned me that he feels heartless, that he had never really fallen in love with anyone and that I deserved better. I refused to accept it and kept trying to “fix” him. I kept thinking that maybe if I “loved” him harder or shower him with even more affection he would actually love me back. Kept thinking that when he would finally make the big move here to NYC and we would be together, it would all be different. Then he broke up with me here in person on the eve of us moving in together. Had to spend a week with him here after the breakup, saw him for who he really was, then he calls me a month later at 4:30 AM to tell me he’s with someone else. What a plot twist he was.

To me this can be a complete build up of stresses in life, different sources. Overcoming can be a step at a time, support, communication with trusted person, telling yourself over & over you are Ok, feeding positive self talk, good messages, Doctor aid if need, and for endorphins, strength exercise is so good. I know basically because I kind of understand what is happening to you. Look after yourself, genuinely, relaxation, yoga whatever. If you can be in a group of support ..... like minded.

I met a woman, our meeting was like a script from a movie. Divine. Our similarities, like looking into a mirror, beautiful, intelligent, deep, and what a body. My twin flame 🔥🔥. One again, off again. Together, apart. 2 days ago, I decided, enough is enough. This channel , and knowing I'm not alone in my pain, motivates my to be better. Sometimes we meet the right people. And they simply show us that we have work to do. Do that work kings. Heal those traumas. Silence that inner child. Release the cause of emotional triggers. Spiritually grow. Embrace the feelings. Build yourself on the outside and inside. Accept the ups and downs, hope turns to fear, optimism to pain, and a roller coaster of emotions. Don't repeat the cycle. Heal before you even try again. Heal yourself purely and truly. Take full responsibility for your Part of the breakup.

Care for all living beings, without feeling hurt. Each to their own, wish them well. In doing so your life could be so swell. Don't take life personal, there's nothing wrong. Just emotional experiences to make people stronge. For one who feels hurt from someone's decision, is waiting for someone else to make them feel better. Love yourself and know that you're emotionally clever. Love to all, and all to love 💛
