I suffer from this constantly. I get nauseous to the point of throwing up when the guy I’m dating is talking to other girls even in normal settings. When he interacts with other women, my heart races, I get hot, I get shaky, I can’t breathe. I was hurt very badly in a previous relationship. Even though I have almost no memories of this relationship anymore, the feelings it left me with remain. I have absolutely no trust in men at all. Today, a man I know who has a girlfriend and a child messaged me trying to flirt with me. I spent the morning crying! I am so triggered by infidelity, it leaves me almost disabled. I don’t trust half the human species, and it haunts me. I am losing hope that God will ever heal me. I feel, in a very real sense, brain damaged, completely unable to heal or move forward in life. Anyway sorry for the overshare but I’ve had a very bad day 😭😢 I love your videos, I’ve been watching you for years. And I think theologically we are on the same page (I’m reformed too!).

Omgosh, this was so well written that I could almost feel what you were feeling. Sis, first and foremost your value is in Christ alone, if HE deemed you worthy to die for then the man you are dating with the intentions to one day marry should be treating you with that same value, if not, goodbye. No one should be making you feel this way and making you feel as though you aren't the only one for them. It's a joke. Thats clearly not God's best for you.

Hi Bethany I am sorry you feel this way and I pray you are healing from this 🤍 I think you should go out of your way to find that Godly community of women ! This is only prayer and laying that at Jesus’ feet. Surrender it to God fully you don’t have to carry that anymore .

Yes I had the green monster once. I had to realize that it wasn’t the person who was wrong but me. All of my insecurities kept me from being happy and just at peace. I had to heal, and then ask God for a guy to enter my life.

Omgosh- literally my content idea for this week!! I love this topic, I used to be SOO crazy, jealous when dating but that was such a display of the voids in me that I hadn't let Jesus heal!

I'm so thankful, because it came at the right time for me, i really needed an advice about this. I'm dealing with this in my relationship, and it's being so hard for me to handle. When i was single i thought that i would have this in control, because of my studying with the word of God, and learning more about relationships, but seeing this right now, i know that putting in practice is something completely different. Hey Beatriz, 1 John 4:1- says to test the spirits and refers to the trueness of prophets but I think that is a very wise thing to apply in choosing who to date or not. You say that you believe that the problem is in you - can you can talk about with this guy?- Could it also be his behaviour or attitude? Is there an indirect way of broaching the subject? Like: "You and Susie seem to go way back...she seems like a special friend"-- Listen and watch his reaction. If it is just in you, as you say, I know you'll get over it thru God's help. Keep praying and listen to God's wisdom. Sometimes, in love, we must persist and sometimes, we have to let go. Even for bible-believing Christians, the romance department still has it's difficult moments. God's always fighting for you and working all your circumstances for the good of those who love Him and are called to His purpose.

@@kadd4415 in my situation, he truly respects me and i saw that on the last youth retreat we went, and he was always trying to stay away from the other girls, and i saw that every time, and there was also an old woman watching us and she confirmed that to me. Being honest, this is really from me, because the girl who is doing this is a different girl, she is our friend, and she is really the type of girl who is extremely extroverted, And this bothers me a little, and she has a boyfriend. Maybe it could be just her style of talking to others and i'm just being jealous for no reason. I believe that i will overcome that. He is a cute guy, my family and leadership approves him, and till now, there's nothing that i can judge about him, it's just her that i don't feel comfortable. But i think that is just something from my mind. But anyway, thank you for your advice, i really appreciated!! 😊💕❤

Sisss- if he is the guy for you, he would show you by treating you how the Lord thinks of you! Honestly, I can testify because my husband when we were dating was very point blank about this. He was like I dont see you as the world sees you, therefore I can't treat you as the world's men treats you. So, honestly the guy who the Lord has called for you will show you signs of this too!

I always seem to like some one but then they always find someone else. I don’t tell them I like them. They seem better off with each other in my eyes. I get jealous of the idea of being in a relationship. It seems like it’s harder for me than it is for other people.

I’m not dating and haven’t for 5 years. But that is something the Lord is breaking down in my mind. I just think so low of myself that there’s just no possible way anyone would want to date me.
