Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I made the mistake and got 2 puppies at the same time. I was unaware of the challenge. I recently had to put my 10 year old pup to rest due to a mass growing behind her eye and Cushing's disease. I thought I could handle 2 puppies, but I am learning that I have NO IDEA how to train a dog. My 10 year old, I had the first 2 months with her, I had been unemployeed at the time. I thought it couldn't be too hard, I was told their breed was smart and super easy to train. These videos and a few other things I have learned about having 2 puppies at once, has given me hope that I can make this work and I can train my puppies to be the best dogs in the future. I thought I was going to have to give one up, but I hate when people take the responsibility of a puppy, then decide to hand it over to someone else. The learning is still slow going, but I am learning to be a better trainer, and the puppies are teaching me patience.

the series still in progress. not sure how many episodes left. I'm looking forward to when Shade is 8months. my rottweiler start to challenge me a lot when he is 7-8months old and positive only is not working anymore. I also just adopt corso recently, he is soon to be 8months old, but his temperament still like a 4months old puppy. I'm curious of Shade's progress since he should be around my corso age. I have two Aussies. Trained both in a group obedience class. In ten weeks they knew on and off leash healing (with pace adjustments), stand for exam, sit and down stay, recall snd figure eight. Started one at 5 1/2 months, the other at eight months. It's not neccessary to take weeks just to teach them to heal, like Zak does. I actually haven't seen him actually train any fog besides his own. And that was tricks. I don't need my dog to do tricks, I want them to obey me under any circumstances. Zak you are good at training young dogs and that's your forte. Dog Daddy trains adult dogs and is good at it and that's his forte. Adult dogs are harder to train because their behavior has been ongoing for a long time. Also adult dog owners need more training then puppy owners. So be happy in your own niche and stop putting others down who happen to be doing a good job.

If this dog didn’t age well it’s not Zach’s fault. It’s not his dog that he’s working with on a daily basis. The dog needs structure and leadership from the owner. The dog owner must be the dog trainer, you can’t pay someone to completely train your dog. Just saying for all the weirdos spamming your comment section. They want to keep abusing their animals since it’s easier than learning to train properly. Keep kicking and screaming like a child holding onto old ways, you look ridiculous. As a guardian for animals you need to do better. None of these extra comments are hurting Zach, they are actually boosting the video. ✌🏽 have a great day!

Force free training is a myth and this video is an excellent example of it. “Dog has automatic stop” after the dog was stopped by the leash. If you see how many times the leash stops or corrects the dogs movement you see the concept fail. The leash is force, a fence is force. Anything that inhibits the dogs free movement is a force- had it not been there the dog would have run off- hence a force.
