Bought this item few years back, wish I had known several years back! Nothing like having a neighbor that has 8 mutts with no obedience like the homeowners themselves. My former neighbor, Thank God they moved, had 8 mutts and sometimes more that would bark at the drop of a hat and it didn't matter time of day or night, one bark the rest followed, anything and everything would set these fools off! And the kicker about it was that they had a dog door so it didn't matter, they would come and go inside or outside as they pleased! My master bedroom was at the back of the house facing the dogs backyard so I lost many hours and cussed many hours as these fools would bark at night. Well one day I discovered that they were gun shy and it was on then buddy! Off came the master bath window screen and a handful of the loudest firecrackers and a flame proof light was put in my drawer! Them dogs would start barking no matter what time of night I'd roll outta bed straight to my bathroom grab a firecracker and my lighter crack the window lite the fuse drop it straight down the wall onto a sidewalk and by the time I put my lighter up and got back under the sheets ,booommm barking stopped for a few hours! The concussion from it landing on the sidewalk and next to the concrete foundation wall just amplified the noise! Ever seen 8 dogs trying to get through a dog door at once??? Pretty damn funny!!! Then I discovered the sonic birdhouse! Best $50 bucks I ever spent!!!

That’s funny as heck about the firecracker. We had a neighbors dog years ago that barked 24/7 and it was horrible. Thank you for sharing that funny story 👍😁

I could see that being really nice if you had a neighbour with a dog that never stops barking. When FoxyTheFearless was a pup I would clap a pair of slippers in front of her face. Worked good on her. Great video and definitely looks like a great product

@@nate7629 Well strangely enough, just as I was about to dive into that rabbit hole, I saw my neighbor outside one day and diplomatically discussed the situation with him - shortly afterwards the barking stopped. I have since expressed my thanks to him (it's his girlfriend's dog). Turns out they actually put a bark collar on him. Most people wouldn't have done that, and I have a new respect for them.

I recently purchased but I noticed my dogs are absolutely terrified of it once I go outside to turn it on they just want to hide is that normal?

Yeah. My dogs don’t want to be in the same room with it when it’s turned on.

Is there a device that does not have a blinking light? There are better ways to indicate the battery level instead of having such a conspicuous light. Also in your description there is a reference to a dog "BUZZING." What does that mean? I have never heard a dog buzz.

Does this device scare birds or other animals? I wouldn't like other animals to get afraid of it.

From where u are sitting or whatever where is it sitting at

i want this for my noisy dogs but my problem is i got cats as wel,l that might get stress because of this device

Hope it works and will make sure I get rechargable batteries for it.

Put a piece of masking tape over the light so it doesn't light up the room.

Nah. I don’t even have mine turned on anymore. But just by them seeing it sitting there is a deterrent not to bark.
