I never got the plow stop, it’s the first one we learn and I can never actually stop I just turn or slow down and it sucks😂

I believe the 'slide stop' is called a show stop. it is my favorite stop.

It can be called either, there are several different names for figure skating moves

I've been skating for 17 years now. I'm at the senior level :)

I've been skateing 8-10 years so I was really young and I never learnt to stop XD I just never understood it I will try tmr tho

Hey Sofabar. for the last two stops I think you made a mistake. I think you meant to say creating the stop from an "outside edge" not inside edge although the inward part of the boot is facing forward to the camera like the t-stop. Also thank you for making the videos, they have helped me a lot. God bless you !

Personally I believe it's a personal choice, some like the plough stop and some the t-stop, but these are the two stops taught to beginners.

Listen up all NON Figure skaters STOP using rental skates alll rental skates in all states are figure skates and if your trying to be a hockey or skate like a hockey and go fast buy hockey skates because the rental skates have sharp toe pic and they really don’t help

No! On in-lines and roller blades you have to stop differently 😊
