grip the ball firmly make the ball stable. and good for the right hand palm push the ball up. he push the ball . not shoot the ball.

I can see the S in the video, but fail to see it having anything to do with how the arms beyond the S work.

Middle finger mostly. But since he uses four fingers down he can also release with index and middle together but for the most part he consistently releases with the middle finger.

Bruh, for those who are trying to imitate other players' shots, your setting yourself up for failure. Every person has a different shot. You just gotta find what's efficient for you. Practice, practice, practice.

You know most people ain’t trying to become an exact replica of other players. I personally think it’s great to see what works best for other players since it will likely work for most players to. I also think that even though you have an efficient granny shot you should try to change your shot. Even with thousands of hours of practice with ex. the granny shot it is going to be limited since you can easily block it.

i noticed dave hopla shoots with a 90% angle but when he gets further from the basket he shoots with the same angle as steph curry. an acute angle

Well this is my theory. When he shoots further away his elbow is more at a acute angle so he can get more power. They explain It better in a new attention to detail.

Coaches don’t mention the acute angle because they still teach based on those stop motion photos that catch the L-shape of the elbow while shooting. Even two motion shooters like MJ and Kobe used an acute angle when shooting from deep. It’s a natural motion to keep your shot smooth the further you shoot from.

He's wrong, for describing the "S" shooting form, because you can't do it with your hand. You can use the S motion. Start from lower S from dip to follow through
