We have the same km baja mine is just orange!👊👍 My motor has been running great but my pull start is crapping out i picked up a new one with metal interior instead of the plastic hopfully that will solve that also Something let go last week in my king motor differential and my left out drive came lose and it grinds when i throttle up...i just got a complete new transmission for it from dan now i got to install both of these your video as helped me with that! 👊👌👍⛽⛽💨💨

hello, im trying to revive my hpi baja 5b ss and shocks are leaking, I was wondering what shocks can I upgrade to or what kits I need to use to fix them since hpi has been out of business?

It will but I do not recommend the rovan 71cc

Hi gary... it's off topic but will mcd parts fit the new rovan rally car? Definitely getting a baja but trying to decide if I should get the rovan ralley or rovan 5t platform with gold 7075 frame...?lol less than a month away from getting them and would love to come out and run with you guys I'm only like 5 hrs I live 60miles south of rochester ny and have a few weeks vacation it be alot of fun running my new toys and get some good tips.. really digging the dirt drag racing and would love to try it and see in person how it goes so I can come back and show people around here..did have a dbxl and broken used baja 5 b and when people seen the dbxl run they where amazed half never herd of them so I've showed them your guys videos and a few are really interested!lol sorry for being long winded.lol

Fist let me Apologize for the short answer it’s late and I’m getting ready for bed. But yes most MCD parts will fit on the rovan. The rovan is a copy of the competition short chassis versions of the MCD found on the bottom half of this page www.mcdracing.com/cars.php

Hey Gary Mr. Foundry I need a recommendation. Do you think that a RC Max 40gt would be better than a OBR 34 signature for a baja buggy drag racing application. Thank you.

J Zeppi RC those are two completely different beast. What I can tell you is the 34cc will allow you to run in both the sportsman and the extreme class. The 40 will only be in the extreme class. Our fastest Bajas are running 30.5 and 32 and one 34

Wouldn't you be better off with a HPI Baja if funds are available?..... I'm just in the middle of removing my 26Cc engine in my Baja and I can't get the engine mount screws out! 🤬

Man, that's a lot of work and small parts. Lol. As you know, its nothing like removing the engine out the 5ive.
