Beautiful wall stencil. I ordered the Serenity wall stencil from cutting edge stencils almost a full year ago now. After searching forever for something I really liked. Now a year later I have finially built up the nerve to try to stencil a wall in my laundry room. Took me this long even though they have an instruction video. They have so many good looking stencils to choose from that at least fit my taste. Thank you for your video on this. Your wall looks AMAZING. You done an outstanding job, I'm super excited to try this in my home now.

Thanks for making a video, I seriously am having a terrible time trying to figure out what stencil I should get! So I finally figure I should search KZread! I do know I want a cutting edge stencil but I really can't decide but the harlequin trellis is one that is on my list and seeing your results are lovely and very helpful. Anyways as for the stencil slipping and having to really put muscle into holding it up if I may suggest using a low tack or removable spray adhesive. Martha Stewart also makes a stencil adhesive that's pretty good too. So maybe this would help a viewer if they are thinking of stenciling, it make a huge difference!

If you aren't a model, you could totally be an interior designer! I love your space, it's really classy! You really played off the monochromes with different materials and textures really nicely! Although personally I would prefer more colours but that's just personal preferences :p

omg, I once (never again!!) stenciled one row, like an ornament in my entire room. the stencil was SO small, it took me DAYS. throughout I had to scrape the dried paint off the stencil, too. It was a pain in the ass, but hey, it still looks beautiful even after years and years! :D

Carly do you think spray paints would be easier to use than a paint brush?

Depends on if you mean with an airless/compressed air sprayer or if you mean spray paint cans that use aerosol. I have owned my painting company for 15 years and an airless sprayer would take about 20 to 30 min to spray the entire room once you get set up and your stencil laid out. I make my own stencils using cheap plastic folders or the thicker paper file folders. this diamond pattern would have went faster if she just used painters tape to create the diamond pattern and then just roll her walls out. Spraying with cans is not recommended ever unless it's outside or in a well vented area and you will definitely have over spray to contend with. A cheap electric airless sprayer can cost around $200 or you can rent one from Lowe's or Home Depot for like $35 a day.

Ive done tgis stencil system ... and its really not that hard. For one its easier if you start un the center top and go down from there and then out eather direction also replace the tape after a 3/4 uses a roller is also the way to go.
