Steez came from 90's Hip Hop, which was a huge influence on 90's skating. Used as a slangword for "style" Ex. Gangstarr - "You Know My Steez".

Matt Ro Actually, if you want to be 100% correct, it was a slang portmanteau of "Style" and "Ease", hence Steeze/Steez/Stease.

Great video, thanks a lot for making the effort to explain this, even it’s a excuse for haters to comment on it. But hey, you can’t hate and be happy, it’s impossible. Just one question, most of videos are saying that it’s pop>scoop>flip but my understanding of yours is that the front foot and flip movement is what comes first, is that right? so then is a slow and short flip? I always thought you need to delay the flip in fact...

Work on the 360 before the flip, it's way easier to add a flip than more spin. Tips for scoop: - Push into the back heel side wheel (it's a little easier) - try a 3 shov, it's harder to keep it flat for some people but some people think it's easier (the scoop on a 3 flip is a little different but it's good to have the muscle memory on the back foot)
