In this Driving Tutorial video you'll learn how to steer a car properly using the push and pull method. The push and pull method of steering is the most commonly used and taught method. It is considered a safe steering method as you keep you hands on the steering wheel all the time. So, I show you the proper steering method that will allow you to make smooth turns. Hope you enjoy it!

I love your videos. I commented in one of your videos that have been driving for a while now but still struggles with the turning and parking. I will watch more of this to improve on my turnings. I used to think not doing hand over hand in turnings is wrong. Thanks for these video.
Thank for your demonstration. I was trained like this many years ago and I have used this technique until today.
Used your tutorials and passed my behind the wheel test first try !!!! I really appreciate it

How many driving sessions needed b4 taking my driving exam sir.
Can you please make a video on 45 degree parking (either forward only, or forward and reverse both)? I am not being able to find any such videos even in the KZread. Everyone is teaching 90 degree parking in the relevant videos. But right in front of my apartment, there is 45 degree parking which I need to learn.

@@TorontoDrivers ok thanks for letting me know
Hi there. In your other videos where you showed the hand-over-hand method, you say to accelerate and loosen your grip so that the steering wheel straighten itself. However, here with this push-and-pull method you say you have to manually straighten your wheel by reversing the position with your hands before accelerating. Why the difference? Shouldn't it be the same thing for both? It seems much simpler to just accelerate and loosen your grip to allow the wheel to straighten on its own, so I'm confused why you couldn't just apply the same method in the push-and-pull technique.

I'm guessing it's because the hand-over-hand method encourages letting the steering wheel straighten itself out, while the push-and-pull method encourages controlling the wheel at all times. Maybe the instructors/countries that require the latter have decided you have to straighten the wheel out yourself.
Could you please make a video on speed & turn? if we increase the speed do we need to turn the steering more for the same turn?
I love to driving

Sure. What about it would you like to know?
This video does not show correct push pull steering. The idea of proper steering is to maintain a continuous turning of the steering wheel. Not passing in several steps. Left turns should only require a 3/4 pull from the upper right to the lower center. A right turn should be 3/4 pull from the upper left to lower center followed by a push from the left hand. You tube video “Advanced Steering Techniques” shows the preferred push pull method. Hand over hand steering works fine, but is harder to learn and not preferred. ( instructor for nearly 20 years.) Thank you.
This method is super slow with lots of wasted movements on the wheel, always looks like how a grandma would drive 😆
aren't you supposed to put your left or right hand up the steering wheel then pull down? both of you hands should meet simultaneously, he's not doing that lol

it doesn't matter. my instructor said my hands cannot meet when I pull them down
