This is why I’m glad I drive cars that they don’t want to steal. My car is 20yo with paint missing and my truck is 22yo with 200,000 miles. They don’t really want my cars.

A steel key avoids all of this, but the government can't control the car if you need a steel key to start it. They need to bring back the steering wheel lock as well.

How cool would it be if it says do you wanna play a game then the doors lock and automatically alerts police and alarm goes off till the cops get there.

Question for you, my 2019 RedEye has the security feature that locks out a 4th key from being programmed, will that android device you show allow a key to be programmed? since I had that security feature updated I have come out to the car two different times with the passengers side window broken out but the car still there.

Put the OBD into the engine. Gps kill switch tied into ignotion and the fuel pump. If you have the luxury pull the fuel relay or igbition. Removable steering wheel. Lol. I say arm the C4 and watch the bad guy blow up like on Die Hard!! Oh yeah cant say that

They track ur car by them iPhone tag's bro. You need to let them know about the iPhone tag and android tags and what app to know if you have a tag on they car

It does in theory.. but I’ve heard of people managing to steal them regardless of this upgrade. I’m assuming since all they need to do to get around it is buy the $159 module, it’s not hard for them to manage

I’m glad I drive vehicles that require an actual physical key. I’m sorry but as great as this keyless technology is it’s also a problem. Lately there have been multiple incidents in my area where thieves have broken into storage lots for both Stelantis and Ford and have stolen brand new vehicles. Now I know how they were able to do it and it’s disturbing.

Is that device able to program a key fob or just act as one. Buying auction cars at 300 bucks a pop for a key fob programmed is crazy expensive.

not sure bout the apo but the real thing is called Autel Maxi Keyfob copier

Usually it takes 5-10 or even 15 minutes to program a key

A ripe vehicle, well its simple to install hidden cutoff switch. Getting past the explosive door handle is a bitch too.

Hmm just another reason OS sucks aka APPLE, lol LINUX num1 over any OS software, Linux software be in majority of ANDROID's like LG HTC SAMSUNG MOTOROLA etc and with any of those being rooted be more powerful than any jailbroken apple for Linux you can give commands and OS dont have that feature as in command prompt aka CMD, you can get into some menus on apple but you won't be able to rewrite or put in commands like androids can.

Or you could wire up a fuel pump cut off switch cheap.
