I’m so happy we’ve found each other online. No injury is a good injury… but foot injuries? They are pretty brutal aren’t they? The healing process is long and often an emotional roller coaster of ups and downs; good and bad days. If you are struggling with an injury right now I want you to know: you are not alone. I know how you feel and my heart goes out to you!
I’ve been in your shoes (and your boot). I’ve felt the sadness, fear, anxiety, depression, isolation, frustration, regret, anger, physical and emotional upset of dealing with a foot injury. I’ve felt it all.
I remember believing that I’d never be truly fit if I couldn’t run or jump. That being sidelined with a hurt foot meant I wouldn’t be able to do hard workouts. I worried I would get super out of shape and all of my muscles would deteriorate. I thought I would go crazy without running as a stress reliever. I thought my life as a fit, active, healthy person was over.
But through recovering from my foot injury, I surprised myself and proved all of those fearful thoughts wrong. I found ways to stay challenged, strong, healthy, and sane. Now I want to share these positive exercises with others to ease the injury recovery process and help people stay fit (and sane) through the journey towards full health.

    Omg I cried today thinking about this. I broke my foot a week ago. I have lost 20 this year so far and was about to get past my lowest weight but I broke my foot and have to stop the workouts I have been doing to help me lose the weight. It's hard to stay motivated. Thanks for this video

    Hi there, I just hurt my foot recently and I too was on a great track to reaching my fitness goals just before my injury. I hope you’re doing a lot better now, it’s only been 3 weeks since I fractured my foot and I feel like it’s finally taking it’s toll on my daily motivation to do anything other then lay in. Ed

    Thank God for Caroline Jordan! Thank you so much Caroline! I had bunion surgery a month ago. I have been putting it off for many years because how could I possibly not run for months???!!! Or the bike or elliptical or leg workouts. Four days after surgery I got on UTube to see if I could find Buns of Steel. (I have and still find it so challenging). But then I typed in ‘injured foot workouts’. Wow! I love your workout videos Caroline! They are effective, challenging and so motivating. And I so enjoy your upbeat, positive, down-to-earth personality! I have many more to try but just wanted to check in a month after starting your amazing workouts. I had no idea my core and back were in such week shape ): So yes, this has been a huge lesson for me and as you say, I will come back even stronger! You have kept me sane through this~~thank you so much!

    Thank you so much Carolyn this gives me some hope just got my stitches out of my ankle surgery and want to stay in shape tired of laying down watching TV want to be positive and get back to crab fishing and hopefully watching these videos Will Keep Me In Shape to do so after I'm recovered thank you so much

    omg thank god i found your channel. I like walking a lot/strength training but i sprained my ankle a month ago. Its healing at its own pace but it felt discouraging losing all my progress

    Hi. I am suffering with plantar facilities caused by knocked knees amd fallen arch for over a year . i have been doing your hurt foot workouts for over 2 months now. thank you very much for all your videos. you are such a motivator. can you please do some work outs to heal plantar facilities.

    Hi! I literally sprained my ankle today. Swollen like a soft ball. Slipped off a step and now I am on crutches. I have not been working out for months and I decided it was time to get back. So I was going to start training a today for a 5k. Yes today. No lie. Now I can't and I am bummed, but I am not going to let this set me back again. I started searching for videos on how to workout with an ankle injury. I found yours and I am hoping for them to kick start me back into a fitness routine despite being laid up. Thanks!

    @Caroline Jordan what exercises are good for me due to three torn right ankle ligaments my right foot finally healed from stress fracture foot doc took me off crutches yesterday and back in the hard cast, still in walking boot

    Hi, Sorry If I’m disturbing but I injured my harmstring aswell and I’m doing rehabilitation exercises do you know gym machines exercises, no equipment exercises and upper body exercises I can do to lose weight while injured? Additionally what diet( food to eat ) to do while injured? Your help would’ve really helpful, Thanks for your time,

    Thank you for creating this series. My ankle sustained multiple fractures in a motorcycle accident, and I had to have 10 screws and a plate permanently installed. It has been a month since my injury, and although it will be several more weeks before I can begin to put some weight on my foot (and a few months before I am walking), I am starting to feel ready to get some movement back in my body. I look forward to checking out your videos as I progress down the long road of recovery.
