I’ve watched a lot of golf instruction on low point and transition 😬 congrats this is for sure one of the best explanations of the swing I have seen. Fantastic thks

Glad it was helpful! Many Thanks 👍
Great explanation, falling movement then left hip going lower than right, that really makes sense, thank you Kerrod, pumped to hit the range.
Wow! This is by far the best video I've seen yet with downswing transition. I reckon I best get to the range and practice this swing.
Your description of the recentering move in a previous video is the reason I subscribed. Your the first to explain/demonstrate when this move occurs. I’m still working to stop the arms from activating at the same time.
Great tips. I was hoping the video would not end until you have suggested some drills to reinforce muscle memory for these amazing tips. I and few others I believe, would deeply appreciate some of these drills if you would come up with them. It’s totally awesome even without the desired drills. THANK YOU
As fine a video on the essentials of the swing as I've seen. Your breakdown of the recentering move and the club swinging underneath imprint like a Xerox copy. Love your knowledge of the game and your swing! Smoothest looking move of any instructor online. Quickly recapping the lesson like you do ensures an automatic retention. I have already used these moves in a golf round and THEY WORK! Do what the pros do. Your videos are probably the best online. Keep them coming!
Hitting down and through without lifting is exactly what I need to resolve my lifting problem. Excellent video, thanks very much.
This is the first video of yours I have seen and I must say I think it’s excellent. Thank you because it made sense and you kept it simple - too many golf coaches make the swing so complicated. Looking forward to seeing more content but for now, Thank you

So cristal clear and simple.....but muscle memory, need to educate my mind and body. Thanks Kerrod working on it.
I like this free flowing moment in the swing, tried it on the range made huge different to striking the golf ball. Thanks for the great tip.
Nothing much to add here. I am a swing junkie and this is one of the best there is. Always a clear explanation, if i were younger i would go for the private instruction vids. This guy is awesome, great technical knowledge and a gift for communication. Love the recentering instruction, for me the timing is crucial.
I made the moves suggested by this video, and I never swung the club better. Thank you.
This tip is so spot on !!!
very well explained. Thank you very much.
I watched this this morning when I had a lazy lie in and took it to the course this afternoon, playing twelve holes. The improvement in my ball striking was instant. I found myself hitting the ball like I used to. It’s funny how you can slip away from these swing thoughts without even realising it. Thanks so much for these excellent videos Kerrod. I’m really impressed by how clearly you present them and how much sense it all makes. Can’t wait to play tomorrow now! Good luck with your venture. I wish you every success.

Thanks a lot. Great explanation of the right approach
Makes perfect sense. Of course doing it is the challenge
This is the best explanation for starting the downswing I have ever seen. This is exactly the bad habit I catch myself falling into. I made sure to save this video the next time I feel my swing getting away from me

Very good. Really liked the way you explained the key points to starting the downswing. I shall definitely give it all a go. One small point - It would have been even more helpful to finish with a Face On clip of it all coming together.
Excellent concise video. Really appreciate it. Very helpful.

I’ve taken this advice onto the coarse today & played some decent golf, I’ve always had problems with hanging back & never been able to take a divot, Today I’ve never once topped or thinned the ball which is a 1st for me, So I’m absolutely delighted the only problem I’ve got now is that I’m fading the ball a little more than usual specially with the driver. Don’t know if I’m missing a piece of the jigsaw on the above video??? But hey thanks again for the great advice 👍 Regards David from England

Thanks, Kerrod. Nice and concise. However in step two, arent you moving the low point of the club forward and ahead of the ball, thus ensuring ball contact first?

Yes-- I agree. I am a beginner too and am watching a lot of youtube videos. You did a great job of simplifying the 3 steps. Arms out, shift weight, sequence. I will have to watch again and give each of the steps a one key word reminder. Thanks

One of the most helpful videos on ball striking I have ever come across. A classic that puts you in high esteem when it comes to golf instruction. Not only answers to what but how and why- key criterion for assessing golf instructors and really listening to what they have to say. Wheat is separated from the chaff in this way when it coms to golf instructors with so much BS on line these days. Thank you and well done.
Wow, I really needed this video a year ago when I started working hard on my game again. After watching a video of my swing (another thing I should have been doing a long time ago!), some of the key points in this video became apparent to me, most notably keeping my arms fully extended during the backswing and down through impact. It occurred to me that the slight folding of my arms (as KG describes it) is causing my swing to bottom out early, resulting in thinned shots. The feeling of real ball compression during impact when I actually do these things correctly is so satisfying!

Hi,kerrod Great tip, you're the best. This tip changed my golf game. I'm 62 years old hit driver now around 240. I'm looking to get about 10 more yards. I know I got it I just got to get it. Do I need to get more lag in my swing or is it buit in with this drill. Man I wish you lived closer to me. I would definitely take a lesson from you. Keep up the great work. Richard

On further reflection and rewatching this video several times (highly recommended) I think you could improve on key # 3 and explaining in greater detail the what and how about the Down Swing sequence. Perhaps a separate video, as there are a lot of theories out there on this very important topic

Great2 instruction. So this also should b aoolied to the driver, wood, rescue?
C’est si Bon to hear so good advices! There are some words wich sound so good like « covering the ball »… I’m struggling with french pros from French school who can’t understand that lead shoulder must not be too up or at the opposite too flat at the impact. And I don’t speak about their fixation to load a max on the trail foot with a retroversion of the pelvis at the the top of the BS wich occurs pain on the right hip and low back! By the way, I believe that average golfers should shorten the BS. This slight and short translation is the real key for a delicious compression and for a good rythm at the DS as well. Following you from a while now I’d like to have lessons online cause you show what the top players do that can be done by weekenders. So great! So smart ! So realistic!
Very good Kerrod. So how do you do that recenter & rotate the chest & pelvis through the shot? When are you doing each?
Looks great, would this advice be ideal for someone who’s a bit of a picker and doesn’t take much of a divot
Very nice description - Greetings from Cape Town

Great tips, mate. You’ve just addressed my problem. I need to get the consistency of the swing. 7 out of 10 I get it right but the other3 I do exactly what I shouldn’t! I’ll be up the driving range today and try and implement those thoughts. Thanks.

You're videos are great, love the way you explain the swing. Are there any drills (or videos you've made) I can that will help to get looser arms, I have a 6'0 frame with 6'4 wingspan and I have a tough time letting my arm come for the ride. I'm gonna go through all your videos, I need to completely rethink my swing.

Swing the Bud of the club. Point at ball on back swing and point at target during downswing transition.
Only came across this guy a month or two ago and am really impressed. But does anyone else get a bit of the "Russell Coight's" in some of the delivery style.

It's a great lesson. Byt he way... can we apply this exactly for driver? It seems hard for me. Is there a lesson for driver here?
Can you talk about the falling movement with relation to head placement...my understanding is the head should not move laterally throughout the swing....in other videos I understand the concept of the head dropping vertically (with the body) about 3 inches...
