If someone had used bigger books in his 1st and and 2nd year of MBBS instead of kaplan books like Guyton for physiology Lippincott for Biochemistry Levinson for Microbiology BD churassia and Netter Atlas for Anatomy For such student still u feel that He should start his preparation from kaplan books or he should directly go to First Aid USMLE?

First aid is way different! Kaplan gives the sense of exam like what is being asked and first aid is all about the points which should never be forgotten!

Take it slow; don't worry about the electives. Focus on the steps and start it in 2nd year or when you get used to the system at the end of first year

It's not late, just start with pathoma and do Kaplan for physiology n pharma ,thereafter start First-Aid, don't waste time learning micro biochem etc, that can be dealt later.

See Kaplan is for the basics; and only read physio ,biochem and pharma +immuno. After that start pathoma and First-Aid, such that what you read in pathoma read it from First Aid. Once done with first aid ,start uworld. Sketchy is awesome!
