@@ripunjay_24 If you are going to apply for the same University as your graduation, then you need to be very thorough with the UG syllabus, even the optional papers. All this, apart from the knowledge of basic things like History of English Literature, Lit Terms and Movements, and Lit Theory.

So could you suggest me in how many pages should i cover one work of any writer.... Like be it 1,2 or 3???......i guess it's more of an unanswerable question..... But whtever you suggest would help me

@@nikitachoudhary883 Not all writers are important. You need to figure out which ones are more important and which ones are less important. Notes shall be prepared accordingly.

Mam exam to pyq based aa hi nhi raha, 50% unknown cheeze aa rahi hai, aur jo familiar hai , unpar ekdum deep questions puch rahe Unknown writers prepare karna to impossible hai, aur important aur familiar writers hi itne hai ki woh hi nhi ho paate aur yaad nhi rehte. koi proper syllabus nhi hai , aur jyada deep me padhne Lage har ek topic to 50% syllabus bhi nhi hoga 6 months me. But ab to questions deep me hi puch rahe hai Kya padhe, kaha se padhe, kaise padhe kuch bhi nhi samajh raha, lag raha hai ab NET qualify karna possible nhi hai English se, ispar time waste karke koi fayda nhi ☹️ Pahle hi alredy bahot hai padhne ko, wohi itna saara yaad rakhna challenge hai bahot bada, to aur deep me kitna padhe ☹️☹️

Sonu, I still don't have access to the latest paper, so really can't comment ki kitna unknown aur unfamiliar poocha gaya. Overwhelm hona normal hai syllabus ko dekh kar kyunki syllabus bahut vast hai. Plus, paper mein hamesh around 20-30% questions aise aate hi hain jo nahi pata hote, no matter aap kitna bhi prepare Karo. Woh Jaan kar aise set karte hain, to make it difficult. Jaise jaise applicants badhenge, waise waise difficulty level bhi badhega hi kyunki competition utna severe hota jayega. Hello mam, I'm preparing for UGC NET exam and i have around 1 year for preperation . I'm preparing under guidance of my professor and they told me that start from Anglo Saxon period and suggest the book History of World Literature by W J Long . We know the syllabus of English literature is too vast please tell us about the overview of NET question paper,pattern and difficulty level of paper . The main problem I'm facing now is the lack of dictionary, becouse lack of dictionary it takes too much time to read, find the meaning of word's and understand it... Thanks...
