Thank you!
You can take a piece of that scrap PVC and run the edge of it. Around the inside and outside edge of the piece you cut to take the burs off really fast.
Just a tip instead of air pressure testing your DWV lines I'd either hydrostatic pressure test peppermint or smoke test they are way safer only because when pvc explodes wich it could under air pressure its turns into fragments and shrapnel and is very harmful
are you hiring, I would love to come work with you. so much wisdom, God truly blessed you.

Hey do you do one on one virtual instruction classes I’m trying to finish my own plumbing after some one ran off on me I’m a woman and I’ve recently learned how to do siding and all this is the only part holding me up on my fixer upper home
Great video Josh. Thank you. QQ: you mentioned your drain runs along the crawlspace from bathroom to kitchen, etc. does the drain need to be sloped through this whole process? If so, did you have to measure the end height before exiting the house?
@TheExcellentLaborer
2 жыл бұрын
Yes the drains do have to slope all the way out to the sewer. Yes you do want to make a rough calculation when you start to make sure where you are planning to exit will be suitable. Quarter inch drop per foot is a typical drop. Hope that helps Robert!
Is there a website where you lay out the sequence to watch your videos start to finish? we have to plumb our entire house and would love to use your channel to help us. Thanks

My mother in law is doing a new build. It’s going to be a crawl space home does she need to have septic in first before starting the build or can it be done after it is framed up?
@anthonymccoy4460

Wait to install the tank until all of the exterior is done that way you don’t have to worry about driving over the tank and damaging it. As long as you know where the tank is going you can work down to it.
I owe. A home. This guy was replacing all my plumbing wellhead died after we took all of it out
What if it’s undeveloped land? But there lakes nearby stuff like that?
@NellenelleForSure

Are you questioning the legality of using a natural lake as the source of plumbing for your house? Or are you just questioning the process of how to do your drains (get rid of waste water) using a natural water source VS the city sewage ??
I am in but of a pickle. All if our plumbing went unfortunately, it's an old house I gutted everything and there is a nonprofit that's helping us but half of all the plumbers they have tried to reach out to won't do the work. I am beyond frustrated, my mom is disabled and my fear is since we are still in the house with no plumbing that they will condemn the building. The nonprofit can only raise so much funding but no plumber willing to do it for people in need. What can I do?
Where do I start from ?? Can I start from the water source straight to the home or from the house to the water source??
@TheExcellentLaborer
2 ай бұрын
The last connection I make is typically to the water source. I’ll make sure the whole house is plumbed and ready to go before doing so. I hope that helps!

@@TheExcellentLaborer are you talking about pex or pvc?
@NellenelleForSure
Ай бұрын
From the home to the water source or vice versa won't make much of a difference. That's like asking if you should put your straw in your mouth or your cup first. The straw/pipe has to connect regardless. What's important is the path and flow of water. You won't know the obstacles/obstructions until you start digging and you'll have to arrange the pipes accordingly. Regardless of starting at the water source or starting in the house.
@NellenelleForSure

@@MohamedAli-cz3klHe only uses PEX for the pressure so 9/10 he did pex last and laid all the PVC (drains) first. If my understanding of the video is correct.
