You did an amazing job. Proud of you. ❤
Her hair is beautifully done!!
Nice, I think I might have to do my clients with softer hair this way vs. all coils.

Yes I want to know the same Thang, what are the products that you are using, how often should she get a retwist, and how often should u use the products daily or every other day, should you sleep with a bonet or what, please go into details for people that r just starting and don't know what to use or do. Thanks
😊 You did a great job I am just beginning to want to get my hair locked and your tutorial is very very interesting I like your teaching on your style thank you so much you make me feel comfortable about getting ready to lock up my hair.

So Much Fun 🔥
The client's result is so neat and thank you for showing the step by step. Would love to see a follow-up retwist of the client's locs. I heard you mention in the video that you prefer to do coils on wet hair and twist on dry hair but this appears to be a combo of coil then twist... Did the client request for it to be done on dry/blown out hair? Again this is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you! So she came pre-washed so that’s why her hair looked the way it did. And her locs are flourishing so well! I can post a video of her locs soon!
Great video 👌🏽
So neat!! Did u use mousse to set the loc right after doing it?
I’m love this.Omg . I just subscribed!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜. So as you hair grow. You just twist the new growth correct? I won’t to start these. I have no perms in 5 months. I have thick course nappy hair but cute when it’s flat iron or permed lol. I won’t my natural self to come through 😂😂😂
That look so dang good. I hope mine get done that good. Where are you located? 😂
Thanks so much for this video
Perfect
Beautiful 😍 Pls are you in CT or New York?I need appointment
Concerns of order for starter loc Section hair evenly--coil comb roots with mousse, clip Water, gel, twist IS anything in spray bottle other than water?
I have a few questions! Once twisted are you blow drying to set? I’m assuming when sleeping you should be using a bonnet? For cool starter locs, how soon after install should you retwist? Thank you so much for showing us your full process!! Very thorough, neat and beautiful results!
@locdbywanna
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! After, you go under the dryer to set. And yes when you sleep you should be tying your hair down as well as using a bonnet to keep your locs protected.
When can they wash their hair and when do they go back for a re twist?
What size would you say these are? Also amazing work!!
I just thinking about this thank you so much i already have some locs in the back that thinned and connected to others
I just wanted to know if u can blow dry your hair before getting locs? (I'm gonna do the 2 strand twists method)
God loves you and he wants to save everyone 🙏🏾❤️
What product were you using love?
I was trying to watch your hands but did you say you twist both in opposite direction for the two strand? Or just one when twisting the hair? Thanks!
Har love 💓💓💓
How long do you put the client under the dryer for when you’re doing starter locs?
I love this ❤
Did you start her lics on blown out hair?
What is the wrist band you’re using called?? loved this video thank you for educating!!

Thank you!! 😊 You can maybe search “magnetic wrist band for hair” or something of that sort! It can hold your pins, combs, clips, gel, anything!
Is The Mousee Mixed With The Water ? Or Is It Applied On Hair Before The Process ?

So I’m going to try to make a more detailed and closer video so someone can maybe record me and show exactly what I’m doing.
Hey, what's the name of the gel you used?
Are you two strand twisting from right to left?
I was waiting to see the end result though

Right! Tf 😂
Are you twisting all the way to the end? It looks like at a certain point you stop twisting and just start wrapping around the finger. Is that better for the pic?
Yes what product plz
How often should a person get a retwist after starting out? How long do you have to sit under the dryer after the install?
@missk9127
Жыл бұрын
wait about 3-4 weeks after install and just sit until they dry it could be 30min to an hour and a half depends on your hair and how wet it is
I’m about to attempt this on my son hair.. he’s 11 and I’m on a budget 😅and besides I GoT this I hope.. 🤞 thank you for sharing
I'm looking on KZread to see about getting some blocks is so many styles hairstyles for locks and my hair texture is tango when I wash it and it got like a lot of knots in it I don't know what kind of shampoo that I messing with my hair tango and I wash my hair
Why do you twist the ends of the locs ? I want to do this to my sisters hair
I got a question do you blow dry your hair when you get them ?? Loc
@locdbywanna
Жыл бұрын
I do not blow dry
did she request a two strand twist? or you usually do two strand twists
roughly how long did this take
How many locs when finished?
How to interloc long hair
How soon can one watch hair ?
And how many rows did you have before doing the middle and side parts ?
@locdbywanna
Жыл бұрын
I didn’t count the rows unfortunately
How to inter loc long hair
I have a question….do the twist at the ends unravels? Or does it stay intact? Like how does that work?
@keahharrison4765
10 ай бұрын
No it won’t unravel. It just takes longer for it to form a loc
So are these technically comb coil/ two strand twist since you comb coiled the hair before you began twisting?
@kaidyer8761
Жыл бұрын
It's basically still twists because she doing like a twist with the comb instead of her finger
@locdbywanna
Жыл бұрын
The roots are comb coiled and the ends are two stranded. Comb coiling the roots allows the budding phase to be a little more seamless and easier to maintain.
I’ve been growing my hair out for a few months now and considering getting locs. The only hesitation I have right now is chemicals used in the process of locing my hair and frequency at which I can wash my hair. I wash my hair everyday and I only use a natural homemade shampoo and conditioner. I then apply a light amount of unrefined coconut oil. All to say I’m a former football player so I’ve had to wash my hair everyday for years or it’ll stink really bad and I also use to suffer with bad dandruff. My hair is really healthy now and grows fast but I’m hesitant that locing my hair will be an uncomfortable process. Is there a way my hair can be locked with a similar routine that I have now or is this just not for me? I’m just tired of paying so much for haircuts because my hair grows fast. I’m over cutting my own hair because it’s just not it lol not really sure what to do.

You can always instaloc your hair. That's the method I use with alot of my clients that don't want to deal with the extra product build up. Also interlocs are a great suggestion and no products are needed. Ant products that are used for the parting will be washed out when you shampoo daily!
How soon can you begin styling the locs after starting

@NaturalieOne

You can comb out locs.
Hey, where are you located?
Are you coiling then two strand twist on the end
@locdbywanna
Жыл бұрын
Yes, I comb coil at the root to secure it and allow it to lay flat so when the loc grows out, it’ll grow out properly.

If you comb coil to the right and twist to the left, it will unravel. It wouldn’t allow you to properly twist.
